I used to have a Twixtor addiction. I would record games in slow motion in order to get a consistent high framerate on my crap PC, to then use Twixtor to convert the framerate to 30 or 24fps with motion blur compensation, just to see what it looked like. I know reelsmart has an actual motion blur plugin, but Twixtor's framerate conversation method worked much better. I uploaded a couple of clips but the vast majority I just kept on my hard drive until it eventually corrupted and I lost all of it. The last game I tried properly was No Man's Sky. Almost immediately after rendering, they released a patch that added per object motion blur in the game itself, making my video absolutely useless. Now I sometimes have a quick peek at what this looks like while working on a video, but I don't often get past the dynamic RAM preview, saying "huh" and leaving it at that. Thank you for introducing a platform for rendering addicts.
I'm just beginning to dip my toe into AI upscaling and I'm already finding out the miracles and limitations it has. A hobby like this is something that will never be done because there's always a "new way" coming out. Even after 20 years of Analog to Digital conversion I'm still buying new gadgets that put a different spin on the process. But it's ultimately a labor of love (with a touch of OCD).
I really like these AI upscaling videos. Really gives a good glimpse into the near future. Also remember not to throw away you the VHS 360p video your dad recorded of your birth, one day youll be able to enjoy it in 4k due to upscaling.

When he went on tangents about game developers, I completely agreed. Developers are announcing and making trailers for their games too early, which causes a buggy game that hasn't been released yet. They instead should announce the game when they are ready to release it. Cyberpunk is a prime example where they announced it 7 years prior, and still released it with bugs, instead, they should already have the game ready to release, and just spend their time polishing it before they release it.

If you mean the audio, 4K is an image so it doesn't work What you mean is increase the sample rate of the tracks or a remastering of the tracks, there's a lot of that out there. The version we hear on RUclips is already compressed like hell. There's a lot of people who do that sort of stuff out there! They pick like really old recordings from the 50s for example and then they enhance them. I've even heard recently a recording of an english queen from the 19th century recording that was enhanced. Just crazy

At the University of someone I know they had a gender fuelled discussion about toilets and the result was that they will have 3 toilets in the future. The point was the fact that there are few people around here that would let someone missappropiate anything, especially for a differed identity. There are numerous other problems with that, but namely the opposition to estranging things into something they aren't is something commonly upheld from what I've seen. Ironically we have something close to what's argued, a third bathroom reserved for disabled people (wheelchair accessible). Some places have a single stall built into each of the two when there's space limitations. For real though, a local target announced they were going to unify their bathrooms, and nearly went out of business solely due to that (they never did it). As for casing the idea of justifying tampering public privacy as an opinion for the sake of being offended, you'd be surprised what other things locals might "extend a helping hand" for xD.
There's many reason why 24 fps is used. In some cameras the 24/30 fps option has a higher resolution then the 48/60/120 fps. The amount of storage you will need increases, in the case of RAW it doubles from 24 to 48. Your camera works harder so your batteries won't last as long. Anything you do in post takes longer/needs faster computer be it cg rendering, the composition programm. And if you do masking you need more keyframes. The higher motion resolution the main benefit, is also a negative in production. Any acting mess up even small expressions are more easily read by our mind because we have more input to process them. This makes cg, which already needs twice the render time even harder. And any camera shake is more noticeable. There's a lot of talk about "oh my motion blur" but motion blur is based on how long the image is illuminated for. So you can have the same amount of blur of the 1/48(180°) shutter combo(at 24 fps most movies use), at 48 fps by using a 1/48(360°) shutter. And slightly less blur using 1/60th(360°) at 60 fps. There's also the fact that some people have been exposed to Telenovela which usually use 60/50 fps so some have preconseived notions about the look it creates(luckily not me) which might have to be destroyed. But I am for moving forward because I would trade in slightly less blur for silky smooth pans and fight scenes and any motion in general looking a lot better. Regarding bathroom, unisex-ification. I'm for it. But I'm also for making stalls with open top and Buttom against the geneva convention. And advocate for automated smell dispenser that spray a dose of peppermint oil or similar into the air after someone used a stall. Make it mandatory for puplic bathroom, so they smell a little less like the gate to hades.

It just takes more skill and time/faster computer/more(as in we already have them) But Hollywood really likes saving money if they can(as seen by how they treat cg houses), and a lot of big directors are old people who would rather start releasing on vhs then go away from the 24 fps convention(and a lot of younger director that looked and learned how they did it) Even if pcs get so fast that a laptop can render photo realistic footage in real time they would still use 24 fps. What really needs to happen is the citizen kane of high fps movie that makes everyone sprint to the movie theather. And shows how it is done. Because if holliwood doesn't see a way to make money with it but have to spend more, they'd rather not.

As Tom Scott's lengthy video explains, most music videos were shot on VIDEO, not film, so this wouldn't work.

There are numerous other problems with that, but namely the opposition to estranging things into something they aren't is something commonly upheld from what I've seen. Ironically we have something close to what's argued, a third bathroom reserved for disabled people (wheelchair accessible). Some places have a single stall built into each of the two when there's space limitations. For real though, a local target announced they were going to unify their bathrooms, and nearly went out of business solely due to that (they never did it). As for casing the idea of justifying tampering public privacy as an opinion for the sake of being offended, you'd be surprised what other things locals might "extend a helping hand" for xD.

There's many reason why 24 fps is used. In some cameras the 24/30 fps option has a higher resolution then the 48/60/120 fps.
The amount of storage you will need increases, in the case of RAW it doubles from 24 to 48.
Your camera works harder so your batteries won't last as long.
Anything you do in post takes longer/needs faster computer be it cg rendering, the composition programm. And if you do masking you need more keyframes.
The higher motion resolution the main benefit, is also a negative in production. Any acting mess up even small expressions are more easily read by our mind because we have more input to process them. This makes cg, which already needs twice the render time even harder. And any camera shake is more noticeable.
There's a lot of talk about "oh my motion blur" but motion blur is based on how long the image is illuminated for. So you can have the same amount of blur of the 1/48(180°) shutter combo(at 24 fps most movies use),
at 48 fps by using a 1/48(360°) shutter. And slightly less blur using 1/60th(360°) at 60 fps.
There's also the fact that some people have been exposed to Telenovela which usually use 60/50 fps so some have preconseived notions about the look it creates(luckily not me) which might have to be destroyed.
But I am for moving forward because I would trade in slightly less blur for silky smooth pans and fight scenes and any motion in general looking a lot better.
Regarding bathroom, unisex-ification. I'm for it. But I'm also for making stalls with open top and Buttom against the geneva convention.
And advocate for automated smell dispenser that spray a dose of peppermint oil or similar into the air after someone used a stall. Make it mandatory for puplic bathroom, so they smell a little less like the gate to hades.

But Hollywood really likes saving money if they can(as seen by how they treat cg houses), and a lot of big directors are old people who would rather start releasing on vhs then go away from the 24 fps convention(and a lot of younger director that looked and learned how they did it)
Even if pcs get so fast that a laptop can render photo realistic footage in real time they would still use 24 fps.
What really needs to happen is the citizen kane of high fps movie that makes everyone sprint to the movie theather. And shows how it is done.
Because if holliwood doesn't see a way to make money with it but have to spend more, they'd rather not.

I know this is late but I did find a version of this song on dailymotion that seems to have a more consistent framerate than the vimeo one with the same resolution, but the audio is broken on the dailymotion version.
