Thanks! In Tennessee. 2017 VW Beetle Convertible with this exact unit. Nav Backup camera, steering wheel interface. And the damn touch screen failed. NO ONE in the US works on these and dealer wants about $2000.00 to replace with new one. NOPE! How do you fix? Do you replace touch screen? Whole unit? Can I just replace the touch screen? Been working problem / watching videos for months. Touch screen only works sometimes when cold! Someone said to get Chinese made replacement off Amazon. But may lose backup camera function. Any advice?
@daniel yawn thanks for your feed back in this instance I replaced the whole unit with a second hand one off eBay matching the part number you will have to code and do component security with the replacement unit then should all be working fine :)
Great I've got the infotainment system out. I'm stuck with the amp under the passenger seat. How does the clip come off the amp, that holds the plug in? Have I got to take the seat out to get the securing screws out?

I’m not sure mine was in the glove box just had stereo pins that slot in the 4 gaps
