There is nothing inside the lightstick stand, it’s only purpose is to make the lightstick stand basically, you can put batteries in the lightstick or remove the batteries and plug it on the side so you have a nightlamp once the lightstick is on the stand… Abit complicated but I hope I could answer your question 😅
