I bought one of your thick belts and secondary rollers for my 21 XP 1000 4 seater a couple of months back. We ran a lot trails at Moab last month and that belt worked great for rock crawling. It actually felt like the trans was geared lower. Great design.

I admit it. I'm an old guy driving an hd10 . I did get just over 6 thousand miles on my first belt. just replaced my primary and secondary just under 10 thousand miles. I didn't even know i needed one. But i thought it was overdo. I am hoping i can even get more miles out of the next belt and clutch. I try not to overpower the belt. I try to give enough power to allow the clutching and pulleys to do their job. I'm all ways modulating my power . If you ride dirt bikes ? You understand throttle control. It's kind of the same thing. Instead of blowing out your back tire. You're blowing out your belt and clutch. And another big help. Use you low gear when you're just going slow. Or especially when climbing up hills. Basic understanding of how the system works. Helps on how to get the most out of it. Good luck and be kind to your machine. Your life could depend on it one day .

Great info, One belt I tried to AVOID is the Gates redline. Just over 100 hours, cracks between the lugs all the way around the belt! I have the old Polaris belt that I kept as a back up that I stupidly got hot not using low. Zero cracking. I road in a 200 hp maverick last night other than nearly uncontrollable with those big tires and tiny steering wheel, the belt box and ducting was substantially larger for better air flow. Screamer though, but it's huge!

No need for spring compressor or governor cup puller. You can use the puller to remove governor cup. Ive been working on defenders since they came out and have never used a spring compressor for one. Good video though.

I'M A HONDA OWNER. WHY DOES CAN AM/ POLARIS GO WITH THE SHAFT LIKE HONDA. DO YOU WORK ON HONDAS? IF SO, WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT HONDA OVERALL? I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE CAN AM, AND SURE LIKE THE WAY THEY HAVE PUT THEIR UTV TOGETHER.

@@Hunterworks Better be good, my tax dollars help to keep Bombardier alive...too bad I will never see any return on investment. That notwithstanding, I really appreciate the transparency of Hunterworks. I like your approach and so much so I have bought into it with a belt purchase when I got my 2021 Ranger 1000 (non XP) ...keept the OEM as the emergency spare. Will be needing a clutch soon as I figure from your comments, I now have 5000KM's on it. I learn alot from your videos and use that to keep me prepared, many thanks. I am a slow old fart mostly on hard pack, what should I be looking for to trigger me to consider a clutch replacement/upgrade cause so far she runs like the day I bought it. Also considering it does get some abuse when plowing in the winter I assume?

@@HunterworksAfter asking my question I just went into my shop and did a 5000KM inspection on my 2021 Ranger 1000 (non XP). I bought your belt just after I bought it late 2020, wanted a spare so I put yours in and stored the OEM. Dammed thing still looks new!. The clutches also show no signs of wear, almost no belt dust or debris. I am not the type to use the gas peddle as an "On/Off" switch but damm I was impressed. I really appreciate companies that focus on quality, I would pay 2x knowing that it can be trusted. I tell everyone that listens about your belt, thanks for all you do for the community.
