I'm 82 years old and have heard thousands of comedians during my lifetime, and there is no doubt that James Gregory is the funniest man I have ever heard!😂
James was a bonafide national Southern treasure. Poked fun at real life and all its absurdities as he viewed it and lived it. He will be sorely missed. RIP Mr. Gregory, I’m sure you’ll have em all rollin up yonder 🙏🏻
I'm 72 years old, and I never heard of Mr. Gregory until I saw my first video of him here on You Tube about 2 years ago, and I fell out of my chair laughing in tears. Since then I searched for all of his videos, and I can say he was very, very funny man. I just found out he passed in may of 2024. It's too bad many people like myself missed this comic gem, but I'm sure he has the Lord in stitches. RIP Mr. Gregory.
I can't believe that I live here in Georgia my whole life and only discovered him about a year ago 😮 Man I'm so sorry for that 😭 he's one of the best I've ever seen 😍
😢I hate it so bad that hes gone, he truely was the funniest man in America, and i loved him so much for making me laugh so hard respectable jokes he was GREAT.
James was the kind of comedian that could have you rolling in the floor without all the vulgarity that today's comedians think they have to say to be funny. And if you're from the south, you know 99% of what James is saying is true. Thank you for putting this special together. He will surely be missed! 😢❤😢
It's always so funny to me when a comedian gets tickled by his own jokes, and tries so hard to keep a straight face, And you can tell it's tearing him up trying not to laugh. I have been a fan for many years, I listened to him all the time on the John Boy and Billy show. When this man died, We lost a very funny guy, May he rest in peace, he is sorely missed.
James is buried in his hometown of Lithonia, Georgia, at Turner Hill Babtist Church Cemetery. James' family plot is beside my Father's family plot. My father and James went through school together and were the same age. When I visit my father's grave, I always visit James' grave also. " It could be a law I don't know..."
I found him on utube about a year ago, and have been watching since. Just watched a lot of this one, had to turn it off because l have a hernia, and l laugh so hard l start hurting. Had the great honor and pleasure of seeing him perform in a comedy club in Hoover, AL once loved every minute and also got to meet him and talk with him shortly after his performance. A lovely wonderful humble and very funny man. He is truly missed.😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
He's actually one of the funniest people in the world he can make a joke out of anything and he never shuts up I'm sure he will make a joke out of his own death I don't even know if he's dead now or not but I hope not
I'm 67 years old last Thursday and live in Texas! And if I were to buy a lottery ticket tomorrow I'd still have to buy another one next week to make 2 in my life! It's a near impossible chance to win but a guarenteed opportunity to throw money away the rest of your life!
I’m 71 years old now and I was probably 8or9 years old my mother thought I have pinworms so she took me to the doctor and the doctor gave me these little red pills and said it would turn the stool red. I’m thinking well the toilet sink and tub in our bathroom are green that’s gonna look awful to have a red toilet seat. True story I actually thought that it was going to turn the toilet seat read.
