The incredible ustad Zakir Hussain at the Shakti concert in San Francisco

Shakti is a fusion band formed by English guitarist John McLaughlin, Indian violin player L. Shankar, percussionists Zakir Hussain (on tabla) and T. H. "Vikku" Vinayakram (on Ghatam)[1] in 1974.
The band reformed in 2020, and released their first album as Shakti in 46 years, This Moment, on 23 June 2023. This concert in San Francisco was a part of the tour promoting the new album.

Timeless. I had the priviledge of watching all Shakti concerts in India before Mandolin Srinivas's untimely demise. I biked non-stop for 12 hours from Bangalore to Goa to watch their last concert with Mandolin Srinivasji. Met all these maestros backstage after every concert.
I have preserved all the tickets autographed by these legends.
