  • I've been working on this level in the background when I took a small break before uploading the 5CC video. Overall I think it's probably gonna be easier than 5CC, maybe around the difficulty of 4CC, hard to tell. I tried to not make the feather and bumper sections too tight, because I've seen this being a problem in maps like 6D, which despite its uniqueness, had a very annoying checkpoint 2 due to the very tight feather sections and awkward bumper setups.
    The first section is pretty much just a Kevin Block escort. I messed up it a little on the video, but as you can see, if you are fast enough, you can still save yourself. The second room is all about bumper timings, pretty straightforward. The third section is the "falling" room with some tricky dashes and a bumper you have to use to gain height. The fourth room is kinda similar to the falling room of 6A, but you have split paths (which I kinda forgot to show fully, my bad). You can either pick semi-tight feather flying or some slightly tricky bumper setups. The pre-boss room is about dodging obstacles while grabbing on the moving Kevin Block. The fight itself is pretty challenging at first, but it's a matter of figuring out (after so much playtesting, I actually 1st tried it on recording lol). It's recommended to be fast there and I tried to make it as much fair as possible. If you ever get hit by an orb in an ""unfair"" way, it most likely means you were hesitating or being too slow. It took quite a lot of playtesting to make sure you can dodge everything. The last room is rather simple, although the bumper bouncing is kinda silly. Overall I think I put the most effort into decorating this level, and I had a lot of fun doing that. I also tried to make the Badeline fight have multiple attack patterns, which wasn't possible with vanilla resources, so if you want the fight to function properly, I'd recommend downloading DjMapHelper.
    Anyway, 7CC will probably take at least twice as much time to make. I'm trying to make it the "ultimate test", so it's probably gonna be harder and longer than every other CC-Side.
