@@_graiderz2462 It is often very tiring. You are constantly concentrating on the safety and what can go wrong. With experience and training it can be a great carreer.
Bob Sherrill yes sir i also retired after 28 years and a motorcycle crash, but after the first young and dumb years i started taking care of my money and im gonna be just fine until that whiskey and burritos catchs up to me and the neighbors start smelling something fowl after a awhile lol.
I work as an electrician for over 20 years, I recognize the work that men in an extra high voltage network congratulate you for the fantastic job you do. Unfortunately our class has been devalued, by those who depend on us. God bless fellow workers.
huge respect and i really admire your hardwork sir..... show this to idiots who think money can buy anything......money defenitely cnt buy the dedication and passion....
I retired from line work and believe me, this is NOT the most dangerous job we do. Working high voltage cables in a man hole is my least favorite job. When something goes wrong you are trapped.
Me quede sin habla al ver ha estos hombres con grandisimo valor para realizar su trabajo y para hacer llevar luz ha la gente y sobre todo ganar dinero para su familia.que Dios los bendiga y cuide siempre🙏.
its common sense when you know wtf you're talking about. he is carrying a conducting wire that seems to touch all the phases. therefore, there is no change in voltage through the persons body; therefore, the voltage and current are not effecting the line worker.
sounds good but totally BS Go Ham, lol. Each walker is on a different set of phase wires. you touch two different phases when hot with a conducting wire and kaboom, that short will blow the wire and you away.

Nothing but utmost respect for these workers
I retired from line work after 50 yrs on the job. Being a lineman is an attitude as well as a aptitude. Real linemen know what I mean.
Can you elaborate pls?
Was it a tiring job? Have you ever thought about death while doing it?
