- Hey there RUclips, your hypocrisy is showing!
UPDATE: My appeal was rejected. SO frustrating!!!
RUclips manually approved one of my videos ( • CROATIA Nude Beaches: ... ) as APPROPRIATE for ALL viewers only six days ago. Then today, out of the blue, they changed it to "age restricted." As a result, that video's views immediately PLUMMETED, as will my revenue on said video. I work SO HARD to edit my videos in a way where nothing inappropriate is showing, and I get flagged and restricted. Yet, popular singers can dance around more naked than myself at the beach, while "singing" about sexually explicit topics, and they're approved for all audiences. Where is the fairness here?
Your videos are perfectly appropriate so hang in there. RUclips has been unreasonable to many channels lately. I must get back to the Dalmatian Coast, as a teenager in early 70's took a ferry down the coast and was mesmerized. Cannot forget Hvar

RUclips has done this to many, many channels. Some people have even been chucked off RUclips entirely without warning. There's talk of organizing some kind of protest -- nothing concrete that I've seen yet, unfortunately.
It's beyond frustrating - especially when you know that RUclips "approves" of content that COULD be offensive to some, and then they go and find your innocent content to be inappropriate.
RUclips's attitude to non-sexual nudity is absurd and frankly displays the hypocrisy of American attitudes where the human body is taboo but I can spend all day working what assault rifle I would like.
My problem also is that they are hypocrites. They say you can't have sexual content, which I DON'T, but then videos like W.A.P. are totally allowed and "appropriate for all audiences."
RUclips is "trippin" for sure hon. At least you're not being booted off! One of my fav channels got taken down completely after people objected to some of the videos. Censorship is real. (also this is the Jane you know irl who performed with you! :-))

I've also heard about channels getting deleted. It's crazy. The thing is, I'm already so careful to not show anything. And it's impossible to know what exact shots are "objectionable" since they don't tell us. RUclips clearly doesn't care about most of their creators - just the famous people at the top.

A lot of discontent of the new confusing sets of algorithms and/or changes in RUclips. It looks like some incompetent people going crazy with the technology without actually knowing the implications or perhaps there's an ulterior motive behind.
I am frustrated a lot of non-explicit videos are marked not suitable for general audience. Worse still in some countries it wants people to submit bank or credit card details to verify. This is not right. Perhaps, there is a need for alternative platforms? 🤔

We definitely are looking into alternative platforms; probably onlyfans? It just takes awhile to edit the videos to be what we originally WANTED them to be, as opposed to what we had to do for RUclips. (And then STILL got flagged - SO frustrating!)

So sorry you're experiencing censorship. It is very real and should scare everyone. Can't believe some of the tripe which is allowed and then there's your content, classy and tasteful. I would be infuriated, too.
It's beyond infuriating! There is so much hypocrisy at RUclips! My videos show nothing, yet I get flagged for sexual content, where videos like that WAP song are considered "acceptable for all audiences." It's insane. We will probably be going to another platform for our nude beach videos, but it's going to take time for me to re-edit every video to make it to what our real vision of each one is.

They were awesome videos.... especially as we got spring snow fall in Vermont! - Keep it up! PS - I would be interested in a logistics on getting there and away from Croatia from the US. How much travel time? Flights and lay overs, jet lagging, ect! Keep hittin the high notes!

To get to Croatia, fly into Zagreb. You have to have a layover - usually in Munich or Frankfurt. So you have your 8 hour flight to get to Germany, then another hour or so to get to Zagreb. Although I HAVE heard that there will be some direct flights from JFK to Dubrovnik soon. Although both of those airports aren't convenient for us.

Yeah, I can't say i can relate because I don't have a RUclips channel, but I dowatch RUclips. I watch all sorts of things and you're definitely not the only creator that gets hit with stupid shit. Some of the channels get flagged or demonetised just for mentioning feminism or racism or some other trigger word, and their video gets demonetised eventhough ot has nothing inappropriate in it. While some other channels have cusswords and things that I could see as inappropriate (even though I don't think they are) they somehow get away with it. It doesn't make any sense. It looks like Americans are prudes. I also think it had something to do with one of the Logan brothers filming a dead body in a forest in Japan, after that things got really bad for a lot of people apparently. I enjoy your guys video as I like to see another perspective so keep at it, hopefully they don't demonetize you more in the future.
They restrict your clean videos, but put twenty adds in it to make them money. Go figure
It feels like they just don't want us to earn any money or something. I KNOW there are videos that show more and are not restricted!
Ohhhh Jen!!!! I agree with you 100%....... you do a fantastic job in editing and I too would be PISSED! You have every right to be. Is there anything us viewers can do for you in your behalf? If so please let me know. Please keep up the great work my friend

Are there any other sites that are less restrictive? Have you thought about posting your videos there?
We're actively looking into that. We might post videos to OnlyFans - that's looking like the best option at this point. I do have to go in and re-edit every single video, though - so the videos are more of what we'd LIKE to show, as opposed to what RUclips allows us to show. But that will take some time. We'll let our subscribers know when that time comes!

Don't blame you there is lot's of crap out there and yours doesn't do or say anything offensive it's RUclips being weird . I don't know how some get to do and say anything and others get hit with censorship .
It's especially frustrating since I know RUclips is prudish and I PURPOSELY edit my videos so they don't show the slightest questionable things. But this kind of thing still happens, despite my best efforts. :-(

RUclips, as a channel, seems to have entered a race against itself, and against those who want to publish their videos on this social network.
There are words, which seem taboo, and of course, they cannot appear in the title, be it topless, naked, or things so crazy that they are related to a political ideology ... since it is not the first person that no longer alone, They punish them by not publishing or monetizing their videos, but have directly closed their communication channels.
Of course, RUclips is not a pornographic channel, and I think that most of us who follow entertainment creators, we know this and accept, of course, entertainment creators, who want to earn a little money with their work, for True, a job that in many cases is to be admired and that involves a lot of work, but that is getting more and more complicated for you.
I would not want to extend too much in my answer, just one last thing, I admire, not long ago your work, since I did not know of its existence, but I am glad to see your work. As for your videos showing us those beautiful beaches, and sharing your opinion about them, I hope that people do not restrict their freedom to show or say what they see fit, I think we will all support it, although perhaps it will also be an opportunity to open up to other social networks, where you can also express yourself freely and without RUclips censorship.

I’d suggest just do future videos of that type in a bathing suit and make a patreon account for videos done the way you’d prefer. Making a patreon account is in general good advice for your channel. An extra revenue stream.
That's something I've thought of as well - doing some of it in bathing suits. (But then we have people giving us crap for not being nude. Sigh... one can never win sometimes!)
But we are looking maybe into OnlyFans as an alternative. I just have to get around to editing all these new videos with some of the unedited footage I have on a lot of my external hard drives! We'll let everyone know when we're getting ready to launch the new page!

I see plenty of hypersexualized music videos that I wouldn't let my kids watch being classified as appropriate for all views and then, something as healthy as your videos being mistreated. It is soo wrong! Hang in there!
Thanks so much for the support. It took me almost 14 hours to edit the Selce Nude Beach video, and I made SURE it was okay for everyone. Then RUclips does this. It's maddening! But it shows they are hypocrites, and don't care a bit about their creators.
@@JenTheSingingTraveler I know it must be really and rightfully maddening, but don't forget a lot of people is on your side. You are doing an excellent job and this only makes more compelling the need to promote body positivity and naturism. Our bodies are not dirty, our minds are.
You got nothing inappropriate to show. It's RUclipss restrictions that is totally inappropriate.
The hiding of certain parts of the body is the only thing that makes a naked body sexual.
Stop doing that!
But if we show more, we can have our videos taken down - there is no solution here when it comes to RUclips!
