When I started chemo a few years ago I couldn't eat because I felt sick after a couple bites. I came across eating videos that helped me. Somehow I found joy in watching others eating my favorite foods. I don't know how to explain it but now I'm hooked. I'm still doing chemo but a different one that doesn't upset my stomach as much. Congrats on 400k! 🎉

I completely relate to your story so much!! I have never been an athlete, but always feel like my appearance is not good enough and have lived almost 10 years in this cycle of restrictive eating. I also began watching eating videos to satisfy all the intense cravings I would have and it still helps me because I don't let myself eat those things. Thank you again for sharing your story and maybe one day I will be able to overcome the fear I have of food and weight gain. 😞

I suffered from anorexia nervosa and watching asmr and mukbang videos helped me a lot: people in videos ate all my fear foods, and they were happy and they were just enjoying their life. These videos taught me that eating is a normal, natural, physiological part of life... So during Summer in 2016 I decided to live again. Thank you Meri for your videos and your story❤️

I also experience the same thing. I also want to eat like many mukbangers out there but I also want a fast metabolism and a slim figure. I want to eat stuff and maintain my weight😢but life is unfair for me. I'm glad you overcame your fears and that you've become healthier now. Hey, i just wanted to say thank you, this is the first video I see of you, and your story really made me emotional. I started watching mukbangs cause the last year of pandemic I set the goal of loosing weight, and at first it was all about eating clean and starting to actually be consistent with exercise. But then I got so obsessed with how my body looked, and the number on the scale, and measurements, etc. That I started some really unhealthy behaviors that I’m definitely not proud of. Yes, in a year I’ve lost more weight than I ever could, but since I started restricting I’ve been dreaming of one day being skinny enough to eat whatever I wanted with out fear or consequences like regaining the weight I put some much pain in loosing. So yeah, the way I fight my cravings are with eating videos. Thank you again, you’ve gained a new subscriber and I know that to watch your videos knowing you were once scared of the same things I am, will help me recover.
