      That's so funny. If you knew about st. Bernard parish, after Katrina, and then read that comment, about Saint Bernard Ave being flooded, and st. Bernard parish being dry, you would laugh too! St. Bernard parish after Katrina, was straight-up devastated from the storm you heardme! I stayed on a football field at archbishop hannan High school for 5 and 1/2 months in chalmette, working as an industrial electrician at the Murphy oil/oil refinery! Then we helped get ExxonMobil/chalmette refining/on Saint Bernard highway & Paris road back online. From there we went to MLK/Caffinand Claiborne/lower ninth Ward and got that back up and running. That school withstood 14 ft of water for 9 days straight. When I walked into that school there was mold everywhere! It would take a million-man army to get the N.O in a spot where you could consider it a normal City. And each member of that army, would definitely have to be sent by the Most High! New Orleans is a straight-up killing field & warzone. That area right there at St Bernard Ave (7th wd) when it's dry, late at night, you definitely don't want to be caught in. It's cut-throat to the Bone, and them n***** is coming for ya, trust me

    • @michaels4255

      Not in that neighborhood. Flooding pattern is different. Last time (after Katrina), levees failed to hold and city flooded slowly from the leaking levees--after the rain had passed and the skies were clear. Katrina was a Cat 3 but it hit in Mississippi, just heavy rain in New Orleans, but not enough to cause flooding if the levees had held. This storm will likely be weaker when it hits, but apparently it will make landfall in Louisiana, a direct hit, so the impact will be direct, not indirect like Katrina. We shall see.

    • @yahnac4201
      @yahnac4201 4 года назад

      Here is proof of that engineered weather to back up what post is saying. ruclips.net/video/h4xyIMzaAZA/видео.html it feels like people think this is normal. It is not normal. All of the Midwest is flooding with levee breeches all the way down to LA like they are splitting the country in half. Food prices are going to be up the roof. Farmers won't be able to grow in time. We need to band together and do something. Realize there is a problem and it's being created on purpose! Order out of chaos!

    • @KNightRider504
      @KNightRider504 4 года назад

      In his neighborhood, it was probably worst a few days ago. That's what he's saying. But even then, I don't believe that. He lives right up the street from Circle Food store and that got hit hard by Katrina waters. But then again, other areas around there saw very little water. That's how weird New Orleans is built.

      I do not understand why they are not moving people out while they can. The storm has not come in yet and they are already in danger, what will happen when it passes through. I am noting the subtle and not so subtle advise these news media are giving, telling people to stay indoors, when the water is already so high. I feel we are about to watch another huge disaster unfold.

      NO, not *during*, only after. City was fine the morning after Katrina had passed. But that much rain had damaged the levees, so the leaking started, and most of the city is below sea level. However, the post-Katrina flooding was gradual.

    • @michaels4255
      @michaels4255 4 года назад

      Not necessarily, much depends on whether the levees hold this time. They were repaired less than 15 years ago, so maybe they will hold this time. But if this were a Cat 5, everything below sea level would probably be severely flooded. It's just a tropical storm now, so I can't see this one strengthening to a Cat 5 level.

      @heygirlhey504 I was using sarcasm in my original post. I really was. :) It is obvious that New Orleans is not prepared for flooding, even 14 years after Katrina. That said, I do not think we will see thousands of dead this time like we did in Katrina. So I guess "worse" depends on how you define it.
