It's really beautiful what about storm durability live in northamerica ,snow wind rain could you live in it.
it's nylon , so no.... want a more permanent tent that allows for heating , check out Springbar and Kodiak tents , besides this tent rig isn't sold in the U.S or Canada .

Wonderful tent for the UK notfor the USA. The UK has no large predators. In the USA the tent would be banned in any mountain or forest campground because of bears and wolves
