your works are amazing even tho i dont understand the process. one question : what do u mean by "driven by signals" ? what kind of signal ? and what are events??? whats the difference between two?
Thanks! An event is something like a message or a bang that is passed between objects in Max. Events are very commonly used for controlling things in the patch. This is like normal computer code where events are scheduled and processed sequentially. A signal is audio information like sound or a CV/gate signal in eurorack world. Signals are processed by MSP objects (the ones that end in a tilde~). Audio signals must always be processed with super accurate timing otherwise they sound wrong, but you can exploit that aspect of a signal to achieve incredible timing accuracy for other purposes, eg for accurate triggering of notes (as in this patch). This is the world of DSP and it is very powerful. Hope that helps
very interesting and cool sounding patch! thx for sharing
Man, where do you study this ? How to get that level of progammation? Thanks to sharing your expertise !
I taught myself - a mix of daily practice (the most important thing) and watching RUclips tutorial videos
nice track man

@@ersatz_ben that sounds so interesting thanks for the knowledge .
Once more mindblowing 🤯 do you teach (private online) lessons? Because I would really be interested 😅
Thanks! I don't teach - but try to share as many patches as possible on my pastebin so people can have a look at how I've made things
telephasic like the workshop?
Yeah - a BOC reference cos the chopped up speech reminded me of that track!
