Top work Deggy, Great video. As a LTFC supporter who was born in Luton, but who now lives outside of the Town, it is great to see progress on the Stadium and your drone photography really shows it taking shape. My parents were married in St Mary's back in the 50's, so although they are no longer with us, they would be pleased to know that the new Stadium is being built so close to the Church. Good times ahead I'm sure. I look forward to your updates on Power Court. Keep up the great work.
Thank you! Appreciate your comment, it’s exciting to see it slowly coming together now!! Will be brilliant for the city and I’m sure the church will be very active on Match days!
Thanks for the update. They are digging down removing the contaminated soil etc until they get to virgin soil - that will take until next Spring. That has to happen over the entire site. They can get rid of the old power cables which transmitted the power from the site to the grid, divert the river and do other prep in the meantime. The stadium itself can then be built in the late Spring when planning permission is granted.
Degs, can this be a definition of breaking ground? I mean- is this really happening? 2:33 OMG- there’s the outline for the southern aspect bordering St Mary’s Road!!! Holy Shitballs…. (Next time you owe us 20 minutes with that drone, sir)
Do you mean the line that follows the road/pathway from the roundabout to the Church Street light. If so, that the blue fencing that was put up 10+ years ago when they demolished the small factory units
This could be a coincidence but it looks like they have marked out potentially where the stand and pitch are on the ground. You can see it round the 2.40 mark
All your videos are good Deggs. You present them well and the drone shots are ace. I still don't like the Stadium being at 45 degrees in orientation to it's surroundings 😩😩😩😩
@@SennaStar I haven't mate. I walked past it on a walk of shame once on a Sunday morning..... have no idea how i ended up there cos I live in Hitchin. 🤪
I’m no Luton fan, but that new stadium looks absolutely fantastic if built as shown 👌

Well spotted sir!! Didn’t clock that myself! If I feel there’s enough to show then I will make it longer for sure!

You wont know the difference when you're inside the ground. Maybe go blindfolded until you're in you seat 😅
@@GrahamGibbins I'll give you a thumbs up Graham just for putting a smile on my face. Have you ever been to the valley CAFC?

This is a stage where under ground heating should be laid,
