At last an "Ode to Joy" that sounds like a joyous occasion. Man, there are some miserable versions of this on You Tube ! To my mind, any version of this wondrous piece should LIFT the Heart & Soul ! Well, here is that kind of version !

In his defense though, by the time he wrote his 9th symphony, his hearing was pretty much gone, and he'd only never get to hear his 10th, which he didn't get to finish before he passed
