As a devout student of my Maori culture here in Aotearoa, (land of the long white cloud), New Zealand, I am amazed by his ability to unlock celestial movements and other knowledge from traditional stories.
I have become fascinated by Indian culture triggered by reading the classics several years ago, Mahabharata and Ramayana. Kailash temple and Ellora caves are such exquisite examples of supreme artists.

This man is Rock star. I love his passion and has a very curious mind. Thank u very much sir for giving us alternative narrative of our precious and unparalleled history with concepts and proofs. I believe u sir that our Vedas particularly Rig veda is very very old . I always felt our Vedas, Upanishads ,puranas and ithihsas are way much older than 3000 to 4000 BC.
I believe worship of Shiva existed atleast 15000- 10000 years ago.
And in Ramayana and Mahabharata both sages ( vyasa and valmiki ) narrated the turning points of the story with celestial positions of stars and compared to moon and also gave detailed descriptions of geographical features where the particular incidents occurred. Yogic knowledge was much much older than puranas itself because the characters in the puranas and ithihasas practiced yoga. sruti -- oral transmission of knowledge existed before man learnt to write on palm leaves and tree barks. So our culture and literature is way way older than we can imagine. We have to remember that all the Islamic invasions and invasions before that burnt most of the writings in our Indian sub- continent.
If all those would have been with us we would have been surprised even more how our cultural- past was more older and more richer than current estimations.

Absolutely correct. How do the barbarians who burnt libraries, universities and books and killed those that they called infidels and kufars and idolators still walk with their heads even in the modern world. This fact should be emphasised in all these talks. Thanks to the deprecatingly called oral tradition and dedicated individuals at least part of Sanatan Dharma has been preserved. Just think of what a wonder it would have been before such destruction.

Ans 2: parshuram said he teach only bhramins because his father got killed by someone from kshatriya clan. So he vowed not let any members of warriors clan to learn these skills. There were other things which were important so we shouldn't narrate what's shown on Television, cause it's not true.

    @Mahesh Iyer:
You have not understood what the speaker is saying about wisdom encoded in stories, and made a shallow observation. You should see more of the speaker's talks to understand his points. Our rishis and yogis indeed had tremendous spiritual powers. That does not mean that every Purana story you read is literal. It is silly and irrational and you lose sight of the intent of the stories, and become no better than a Christian fundamentalist who claims that every word of bible is true.
There is some history in Puranas, but nothing in Hindu theology requires Purana stories to be historical or literal, and their interpretation as science lessons or encoding dharma-principles/morals makes us stronger, not weaker. The speaker is on the dot with his interpretation, and should speak more on the wisdom behind several stories.
Don't try to make Hinduism a history-centric religion that can easily be demolished by science. Read Rajiv Malhotra's Being Different, and become more informed in your understanding.

Questioner at19:0 about globalness and not Indic, etc. More likely it is due to the Sanatan idea (Advaita Philosophy) of how everything in the cosmos is a manifestation of the supreme consciousness (Brahman). Therefore, it is not synthetic or contrived for world conquest. Lokah samasta sukhino bhavantu etc is deeply embedded only in Indic Culture.

The question on specific origin of vedas is very good, unfortunately this issue is bring glossed over.
Rig Veda was composed by Puru-Bharatas. Later others in India, first in North and then in the South, adopted / accepted the vedas and thus Bharat became Bharat.
The last Hymn of the Rigveda, Mandala 10, hymn 191 is called the hymn of Unity.
I believe that this hymn, and all the thought and action around it, before and after it was composed, were responsible for the unification of Bharat.

When gurgaon(a tech city in haryana) was name changed to gurugram, these foreign ideology people came and said that why to name it gurgaon(another name of dronacharya). While dronacharya took a thumb of a "DALIT" boy eklavya.
Now they are in a trap.
Eklavya told in his introduction to dronacharya that his father is a military chief in neighbour state.
So, either dalits were oppressed by brahmins(like dronacharya) or dalits were made military generals & high rank officials.
So conclusion is that we must decolonise our minds from these foreign powers like communists, christian missionaries, islamists.

Our rishis and yogis have had tremendous spiritual powers and have accomplished things that not many devas and devis would even contemplate. Hence reducing the act of Agastya drying up the ocean (today's Sahara Desert) to an astronomical event is not only presumptuous but demeaning as well.
Challenging the western indologists and their false narratives is one thing, but reducing "all" our historical events to astronomical observations and story telling is not justifiable

16:00 the answer to this question is that parshoram (whos real name i dont remember) was a son of a bhrman who was murdered by a king(who was kshatriya) then parshoram did a tapasya and asked lord shiva to grant him strength to avenge his fathers death(who was a bhrman and in that time the only weapon bhramns had was their knowledge and kshtriyas were warrior race) so lord shiva gave him an axe(in sanskrit parsho is axe) and hence he was known as parshoram thereonwards. then he went on destroying kshratriyas for generations but later realised that this killing wont end unless i install dharam in this warrior race. so his first student was devvratt(aka bhishmapitama) son of a kshtriya and river ganga not fully kshatriya nor bhrman and i think it was writtin somewhere that ganga mata requested parshoram to train his son and make his a good person and he trainned him to become a warrior and presented him with the gift of gyan sadbuddhi which enabled bhishma to rule without any ahankaar and for their people by law(during then hastinapur kingdom had laws like a farmers son should become a farmer because this enables the occupation to be carried on and the teaching that he will get from his parents will save the tradition and with time a person can get better being trained since childhood, maybe the population was not as increasing as today during then ). he knew that kshatriyas cannot be the keepers on knowledge and power at the same time they will use it in their favor and command and conquer so he only trained bhrmans.

Karna is not a cleaner. He was well versed in the art of war. Your argument is not correct. The Hinduism is lost it’s glory as the caste had explored the vulnerable. Varna or Caste is a bane and to Indian society. It is the selfish attitude of Sanathan dharma. The dominant castes are not holding or carrying the sacred culture of Hinduism. Today the oppressed classes backward classes or castes are carrying the fruits of Hindutva
If you want to protect Hinduism, don’t try to hoodwink, try to apologise to True Indians and dispense with casteism which has almost ruined Hinduism as a religion

To put all this ARYAN-DRAVIDIAN nonsense in a simple way - Even a so called dravidian can be called as ARYA(noble) and dravida is just used to refer a person who's coming from a particular direction(south) in a country as vast as India.

The caste system is several thousand at least 3000 years as it was evident even during the times of Buddha 2600 years ago. It didn't come with Vasco di Gama or Portuguese colonization of Goa. The only thing Portuguese brought was the church, not caste.
