    Here on Blue Peter, our presenters Shini Muthukrishnan and Joel Mawhinney were joined by Gladiators Steel and Diamond to help make some delicious Gladiator's inspired finger-shaped biscuits.
    Ever seen a Gladiator baking biscuits whilst another Gladiator squats a Blue Peter presenter? Now is your chance, as Joel is put through his paces whilst he interviews Diamond!
    Follow the recipe below to create your own edible versions of the iconic Gladiators foam finger.
    INGREDIENTS:
    * 200g unsalted butter
    * 200g caster sugar
    * 1 large egg
    * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    * 400g plain flour +extra for dusting
    * Red and Blue icing, or edible ink pens
    * Straws or lollypop sticks
    * A template of your hand, you could draw around your hand on a cereal box and cut it out!
    INSTRUCTIONS:
    * With the help of a grown up, preheat your oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
    * Draw around your hand on a piece of card and cut out the hand shape - this will be your template for your biscuits.
    * In a mixing bowl, whisk the butter and sugar together until soft and creamy. Then whisk in the egg and vanilla.
    * Mix in the flour and combine with the ingredients to form a dough, if the dough is too sticky you can add more flour.
    * Flour your surface and using a rolling pin and roll out the dough to about the thickness of two £1 coins.
    * Next, place your card hand template onto your rolled out dough and, with the help of a grown up, use a butter knife or playdough knife to cut around your hand template.
    TOP TIP: Save some excess dough to help attach your lollipop stick/paper straw later.
    * To create the foam finger hand pose, gently fold over the fingers and thumb of the dough, leaving the index finger pointed up. 👆
    * Place the lollipop stick/paper straw onto the bottom of the back of your dough hand and using the excess dough from earlier, attach to your dough hand.
    * Place the biscuits on the baking tray and, with the help of a grown up, put the biscuits into the oven to bake for 10-12 minutes.
    * Once the biscuits have cooled, decorate them with your designs and enjoy! Another one bites the... Biscuit!
