Challenging myself to draw in public places can be really helpful especially when your using it as references to your own imagination. I visited LACMA (Los Angeles Museum of Art ) in California looking at the amazing paintings and sculptures, sometimes get lost finding my way out! Glad maps are everywhere!
Wow, what an great idea to bring us along with you to the museum. Your sketches are definitely spot on and I always learn something! Thanks for such a nice surprise!!!
Good morning. I noticed your glasses fogging due to the mask. I wipe mine down with a foam shaving cream. It works for long than anything I have tried. Hope this helps you.
This is great! I love going to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles! I always head for the T-Rex bones to better my anatomy when I want to paint a fleshed out one.
Nice place ! No many people to avoid covid , good idea 👍🏻 and iPad to sketch quickly without water, pen, watercolor box, brushes ... good job Parka !! 🤜🏼🤝👏🏻
Congrats Teoh for your ability to draw such a difficult construction of bones ! Such animals inspire so many comics and films, it is interesting to imagine how they really were and how was earth life at this time. For me painting natural things is always a contemplation.
I wish our city had a museum like that! My country has a few I think, but our city museum is so small and empty. Awesome sketches, and thanks for showing us around a bit!💜
Watching this video before checking out my cart in Overjoyed full of Horadam Paints because of the SALE. I hope I'm making the right decision on buying Schmincke. Nice sketch by the way.
I think Schmincke watercolors are more easy to use from tubes than pans. Several (all?) Schmincke pans are difficult to load the brush maybe because the binder medium in their pans. When you take paint straight from the tube, it is creamy and it comes faster with a good quantity of pigment. At the contrary in other brands, some pans are so pigmented that the first loading could be too much, so need a technique to adjust the dilution. I mainly encounter such difficulties with watercolors pans. So I prefer to use tube paint even dry having to be reactivate.
OFF TOPIC: Teoh, Toronto Pen Company is selling 4 modified versions of the Pilot Parallel, designed for calligraphy, but possibly interesting for drawing as well, in particular the Ruling Pen Modification. What a nice location to Sketch! One little advice that helped me a lot on drawing bones - You can merge the rips, if they are very close together, so the shapes come out much stronger!
Sensei, i am glad to see you use a real skateboard and not some stupid cell powered thing, batteries are just as harmful as fuel for the environment, Bravo
Wow! Fantastic museum that I would love to visit. Great sketches, too. Thanks for taking us along.
So cool! Thanksfor taking us along and not slacking on those bones
Bones are hard to draw yet you made it look so easy! Mad respect :)
What a great idea! I only bring my sketchbook when I go to art galleries. Def gonna do this now 🙈
One could spend all summer in there and still not sketch it all. Beautiful and interesting place. Thanks,

I love drawing and painting at the AMNH (American Museum of Natural History) in NYC. So many cool animals and things to draw, and they don't move!
I went there before and it was amazing!
To joke I am tempted to say : imagine a 🦖 Tyrannosaurus moving while drawing it 🤭
cri, i wanted to do that but now...
😆😆😆😆 I agree, trying to draw monkeys at a zoo is insane 😆😆.
Lucky :)
I love dinosaure so very instructive for me !!!

I’ve never been to museum before :0 until now!
I'm going to need a lot of extra sketchbooks for museum visits in future 😆
Cool!!!!!
Oh man, I feel ya on the mask-glasses thing. No matter how I try to reposition my mask, I still get them fogged up :(
Thanks for the video, Teoh. :)
damn i have to star going to museums
amazing.. how would you compare you compare your experience of drawing with a tab vs. o a sketchpad + watercolours?
Drawing on paper and digitally is very different experience. I use digital mostly for the convenience, otherwise I prefer paper.
Please, Tab S7+ Handwrinting Video!
Cool

Well that was amazing and different. Is there anything you can't draw?
Wow, what's the creepy skeleton labelled SURILI MONNTY?
TFS!
I just loooove animal skeletons.
