Well in 2017 Ryan mayfield beat every one with the rear motor associated buggy. And center motor had just come out. . After that he got sponsor for yokomo. For 10 scale. Crazy
Congrats on a good win. I thought the car looked very good. It was interesting to see the changes you made in the setup. You could see the Kyoto was good on all parts of the track except the slower turns. It wasn't bad, but you lost a little time. If found the same thing this past summer in our parking lot series. My brushless Bandit was slower on exit of the slow corners. I agree with you I think there could be enough different rear motor cars to have a separate class.
I got a Dirt Master off the back of your videos here. Freakin' amazing driving. I'm a noob and learning loads from your tuning and set up. 3:51 I've a couple of questions. How are you keeping that shorty battery secured and what tires is it that you are you using? i can't seem to find any similar?
The Dirt Bagg had it, the other car would be in the middle of landing and begin its run to the line. Dirt Bagg was already on its way. Ultima Rb5 jingling all the way.
thinking of getting one... what parts and stuff have you done to it to make it competitive with today's modern buggies? Planning on racing it in outdoor old school loose dirt track
I would never pull over after a crash. It’s racing buddy. Does any other racing do that? That like asking for money for a broken part when you get hit.. just my opinion tho
It's a sportsmanship thing. If you take someone out, you're supposed to wait on them to get martialed. If they took themself out, it's their own problem. You see even the professional racers like Ryan Lutz, Ryan Mayfield, and Dakota Phend, to name a few, do it.
Wish we had tracks like that indoors in the U.K. ,great racing
Would love to see budget or even vintage classes come back, I think they would be a ton of fun.
They’re literally at every track out there… Tons of interest. 🤙
Nice work dog all that work paid off , And thanks Tony for the nightmares 😂
Yeah I'd love to see you guys start a rear motor class. The Tamiya TRF201 could race in it too, if the spares weren't like rocking horse poop.

An other awesome vid! I was considering going the bandit route but I saw AE has the RB10 that looks pretty interesting.

Battery is double sided taped in and tires are AKA ultra soft slicks.
@@mxacres seriously? Double sided tape. I love it! The best part is no part!
Sorry... What is the motor and ESC you are using? how many turns? @@mxacres
Hobbywing 80amp esc and Fantom 17.5 motor.

Thanks. It does have one in it now, I can’t remember for sure if it was in in this race , but I believe it was.
You seem to be loving that buggy 🤣
Absolutely do
Nice driving

Where is the racing held? I know that it is near New Freedom, PA, but I cannot find a listing for it.

17.5 brushless ? Or brushed? I have a bunch of rear motor equipped buggies. I’d love to race them.
This was a great race!!
Brushless
@@mxacres Mine was set up for a silver can race that a few tracks host. I suppose I can switch it to a brushless setup if I want to.
