  • Lee van camp visits Europe's biggest indoor antique market. Hemswell antique centre Lincoln. Two weeks earlier, Johnny Depp paid a visit and bought some quirky items.I missed Johnny Depp but saw David Dickinson .
Come round with me on a nostalgic tour of the past.

Oh my goodness you have taken me back to the beginning of the 1970's when newly married we lived in the married quarters at RAF Hemswell as my husband was stationed at RAF Scampton. Hemswell then was still a well cared for place and I remember when Iddy Amin threw out all the Ugandan Asians and they were housed in the old barrack blocks, which are now the anrtique centres. I visited my old haunts before covid and it broke my heart to see Hemswell now and the state of the old Base, I only hope hope the historic RAF Scampton doesnt end up same way. We were posted from Scampton from a Vulcan squadron, to RAF Lossiemouth, 8 squadron on Shackletons. Nice vlog Lee.

Great video Mr Camp so interesting.
We are around the same age so lots you talk about is very relatable.
My dad loved cortinas, he had two one after the other in the same colour and same model.
Loved the child's chair, perhaps it was an apprentice piece.

Hey Lee 👋 I just love these antique places, smashing stuff in that one I must say. Hubby bought me an old rocking horse a couple of years ago as always pined for one when small. Shame you missed Johnny Depp 😮 I have just subbed after you cracking me up on Butlers Empire and looking forward to watching more of you… Good luck with the Chanel ❤😘

You wouldn’t want to be carrying your butchers block back to your camper van would you. My dad had three cortinas , always liked them. He had them all new. I remember saying to him when he had a Vauxhall Vitoria new, I will have one like this when I can drive and get my car, he said it will be old fashioned when your ready for a car, I could never understand what that meant. Hehe. How times have changed.
