  • The true Story of the first Black Grenadier Guardsman is being told for the first time by the man himself Richard Stokes, 35 years after leaving the British Army. His book Trooping the Culture uncovers the layers of his life from being in the army and fighting racism, to being adopted into a white family and seeking his identity. He will unveil the psychological legacy it leaves behind and how he gets through it. It’s a compelling story of resilience, endurance and survival.

Such a shame it's unclear to start with, I really hope people stick with listening to it as the sound does get better. Well done Richard x
