Little tip, If you Eldritch shield someone and apply power of sacrifice on the shielded, you have a +15 str team mate running the enemy down without taking any damage from the sacrifice
I don't get why people would be opposed to having more gear available from traders. Not only is it a gold sink (which the game needed) but it makes mid tier gear much more accessible to people who don't play the game religiously. The only people I've seen who are complaining about it are the types that like to spend hours in trade windows roleplaying a merchant and are now mad that their items are worth less.
This. I'm not personally opposed to trading, but that doesn't mean I wanna spend 15-20 minutes finding stuff every few matches, I just wanna play the game. If that means spending a bit more on something from a merchant so be it, thats worth it to me. It's nice to have the options.
Idk, kind of a Lackluster update if you ask me... *Laughs in sarcasm* 😂 Seriously though, imagine game developers that actually listen to the player base, make QoL changes on a pretty regular basis, and try to make the game more enjoyable for all. IronMace is looking pretty solid from where I'm standing.
Cast eldritch shield on yourself to tank the magic damage ticks from self casting power of sacrifice. Nice little precast before I go into a blow of corruption hit. You can get bloodstained blade up before it all if you have time. The shield should tank most of the damage from swinging. I think that spell is a must have.
@@frostyfrognips3928 With the curse mastery perk, yes this is the case. Im sure its bugged. Curse mastery also removes the initial Curse of Pain damage (another bug?), so I don't use it anyway.
I also noticed that the bard's song order seems to be broken. I setup 10 songs with a specific order and the songs which I had unlocked when I went into raid were different than what was shown on the screen when setting up the class. My second highest priority spell was locked but my spell with the least priority was unlocked. All of the other spells seemed the same.
Eldritch shield stops self damage from dot things like cure of sacrifice and bloodstained blade. not to mention it cost barely anything to cast and is super fast it makes wizards and clerics alot easier to fight aswell
@@christowers7307 it does i have tested it multiple times. it doesnt say the damage type you take but im fairly sure its magic damage as eldritch shield blocks it.
you can safely use hydra/evil eye as a lightning conduit with a wizard teammate. it's so gross. you can curse your own hydra which gains health starting at +1 mag heal.
@@krelekari yeah it takes a little prep and practice but in just a few attempts it's really paid off for my party esp bc hydra can be used to block people in such a way that they can't flee the chain
You can use Evil Eye as a lightning rod for wizards to cast chain lightning on. It effectively doubles the range of chain lightning and allows you to hit teams around cover/behind doors and walls. Def my new favorite strat
I liked running bloodstained blade, eldritch shield, and curse of sacrifice with a good crystal sword and chopping people up. Lots of damage and pretty fast with how the boots were bugged
2:20 I’ll have to disagree ngl, I think if anything it will lead to less gold being circulated since people will actually be inclined to buy good items from merchants
You can use eldritch shield as an hp pool to cast with. It soaks your casting cost damage. If you want to spam a bunch of bolts of darkness you precast that and the first bolt after it runs out gets a damage boost.
warlock was my first character that got me better at the game my only complaint abt these spells and perks is 1 bolt of darkness hitbox/ visuals feel weird and 2 i wish there was another range option like bolt( ray kinda sucks to me might be good if ur kitted tho )ALSO ik its for sure a bug but u can heal off the hydra w curse of pain/ sacrafice
Shield blocks self dmg letting you spam cast for a sec or invrease the effectiveness of heals cuz your no longer spending hp to cast but its so expensive to take The self dmg from the blood buff scales with magic dmg, dude took more cuz he was holding a staff

Sacrifice is glitched rn and does 0 damage anyways
@@steak_n_fries3639 Only if you are running curse mastery

Power of sacrifice does not deal tick damage to the caster when casted on self. I believe it’s a bug right?
@@frostyfrognips3928nah that shit will kill you unless something changed in the last 8 hours
@@frostyfrognips3928 thats a bug with curse mastery sacrifice just doesnt do damage at all with curse mastery. curse of pain also does less damage.

By the way, eldritch shield will absorb the damage from blood blade thing

Are you sure that's true of bloodstained? How it reads it shouldn't work. Bloodstained is NOT magic damage, you just lose 3 health per swing.

wait are you sure? I tried this and it did not seem to eat spell hp costs
@m0narch13 you're right, it doesn't eat base cost, but it eats bloodstained blade and PoS self damage.
We LOVE the warlock changes NODDERS also RIP rogues
Eldritch shield with bloodstained blade goes so insanely fun. Is it reeeeeally that good? Ehhhh. Does it feel REEEEEALLY cool? Yeah!!
