Welcome to the first build video in the Hangar 9 CubCrafters XCub 60cc build, part of the Hangar 9 Back to Balsa Series! This video gives an overview of the electronics, engine, and propeller that will be used in this XCub 60cc for the build. You will also see how to prep the covering on your XCub 60cc for the build. during shipping, the XCub's UltraCote covering is often exposed to many changes in temperature, humidity, and pressure which may result in wrinkles. It is a good practice to go over all of the covering with a heat gun or iron to shrink it and get rid of the wrinkles. This ultimately eliminates the risk of potentially loose covering tearing off in flight. Lastly, you will see a good technique in how to install the control arms into the control surfaces.
