Nice to see content creators at Uni as not many people film much at lancs. Tempted to start making some uni content soon.
whatre the best colleges for people who are a bit more shy and dont do well in really loud/busy environments? :,) im looking at lancaster after going to a uni convention thing but i dont go to uni till next year
Personally cartmel or lonsdale as they are further away from the main campus so a nice walk and a generally quieter area of campus. I like a good walk but a lot of people don't so it would be ideal if you mind the extra walk.

hey i’m so sorry for the late reply! i would agree with the comments about cartmel and lonsdale, i think grizedale and county are defo more social/loud but there’s a huge mix of people within every college so you’ll get quieter areas (e.g townhouses will likely be more busy than smaller flats)
Hi jessi i am coming to Lancaster in sept 2023 intake as an international student could you suggest which accomodation should i considered On campus or Off campus ?
i would defo recommend on campus! then it’s much easier to make friends and you’re close to all your lectures!
Defo on campus. But picking a college depends on your needs such as whether you want a quieter college or somewhere more party focused like grizedale

I’ve applied for the content creator role with the uni, and also had previous vlogging experience. But really looking forward to connecting with other content creators in Lancaster as I’ll be starting my course next octo & am super new to Lancaster 😊

grizedale is defo the most social, then maybe county, i think there are others that specialise more in music and sport but i’m not sure which, cartmel is good for catered as they have a decent bar and food place :)
Depends on your wants and needs. I can help you if you let me know whether you want a walk to somewhere quieter or one of the more party centered colleges
