@@KolectivSG I like my flat surfaces flat and my contoured surfaces contoured. I agree that lighting is important, but I let the lights do it. Once you paint on the lights they are baked in, so to speak. I prefer to use actual lights and actual shadows that will change under various lighting conditions. Paint can't do that.
That was super insightful! So far I have always used Darren Lathams tutorial on purity seals, but yours is +1! Great video!
Thabk you! Honoured to be mentioned in the same sentence as Darren:]
Very helpful video... Been ignoring painting writings on purity seals before this...
Glad you found this useful !
Nice work! You should do a video on how you painted the Captain's chest shield, also a Necron painting video would be cool.
I did the necrons one years ago but I think it should he time to revisit
Such a good video and explanation (especially the drawing!). So glad I discovered you. Subscribed.
Thank you ! Glad you found it useful ! More coming up !!
I'm going to practice painting breadloaf skulls now...
Bread skulls best skull
My dumb animal brain looked at the title and thumbnail and just without a second thought “well its too big”
Hahahahahha it sure looks that way ;)
I never paint lighting. That's what lights are for.
Lighting is really important imo, makes flat surfaces contoured !
