    I'm amazed by the Facial Taping videos. Your explanation is the BEST, thank you so so much!
    I have a question, if I am applying the tape at night, is it fine to apply it after the moisturizer and the whole skincare routine?

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад +1

      @1N5
      Absolutely! Just make sure to wait about 15 minutes before applying the tape, so the moisturizer or facial oil is fully absorbed, otherwise the tape will not stick. Also make sure to rub the tape (from beginning to end of application length) to fully activate the adhesive once applied. I am delighted to hear that you find the video's informative and are helping!

    Hi from Italy! Big fan of your taping techniques! I have a question. I’ve seen in one of the tape manufacturers video that they place the anchor in the high part of the forehead and then pull the skin up and place the tape, instead of placing it in the lower part as you do. Is there a difference, what’s the explanation? Thx!

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад +3

      @patricia lopez
      Happy you are enjoying the taping! Wish I was in Italy right now. 😊 Yes, there are many ways to apply the tape for sure. You can certainly start at the top, pull the skin and then without stretching the tape, apply it. That will work. I am working on some other videos with different applications for some of the same techniques. Everyone is different and sometimes starting at the top can work for people. I use the technique starting from the bottom as it seems to work the best for the most people. But that is the fun of taping, see what works best for you and do that! They will both work as long as you are not stretching the tape but positioning the skin in a comfortable way. We are just trying to retrain the fascia or stop some muscle movements. Good luck! Let me know how you go.

    Hi
    Thankyou for your thorough guide. I am new at this and I am wondering about the stretchy part, why should it be horisontal? Doesn't that mean that the skin/muscles can move more easily and therefore keep 'wrinkeling' so to speak?😄 or what am I not getting? Love the rest of the instruction though.
    Kind regards

      You are actually taping vertically for the forehead, which will relax the frontalis muscle.

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  Год назад +1

      I would recommend doing some gua sha or cupping or massage or the forehead freeze exercise on the area before you do taping to relax the frontalis muscle before taping. If you are getting wrinkles when taping, try not taping so tightly. You want to make sure there are no wrinkles when taping. Good luck!

      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад +2

      Yes, layering tape is wonderful, addresses multiple areas and saves time. The 11’s would be applied first and then the forehead taping. There are loads of great combos for sure!

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад +2

      Hello Italy! That is a great question! Yes, you can combine taping techniques and I recommend doing so. If you are taping the 11’s and the forehead, just make sure to apply the tape for the 11’s first and then apply the forward application.
      I use this combo myself.
      Good luck!

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад +1

      @patricia lopez
      I don’t recommend taping in areas with fillers as you don’t want to have any of the fillers moving out of position or being compressed in a weird way. You can certainly tape other areas of the face without fillers but I would recommend skipping the area with filler, at least until the filler is almost completely absorbed. Hope this helps.

    How do you feel about pre cut tape

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  11 месяцев назад

      Precut tape in theory is wonderful and so much faster, but the issue is everyone’s facial measurements are different so there is just not a one size fits all. If you do pre-cuts, you will still need to cut it to fit your specific face. Also be careful as most pre-cuts are for the body and the adhesive is too intense for the face. An easy way to get your tape cut is to do it all at once. Once you get your length for a specific area you want to tape, spend 15 to 20 minutes cutting a week or two weeks or more of the same size and keep that in an envelope or container of some sort. Then, when you are ready to apply at night, when you don’t want to cut the tape, you can just quickly grab a precut that is perfect for you. It makes things much faster and easier.

    • @StrivingforHealth

    And It also works for droopy eyelids?

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад +1

      I would actually recommend facial exercises for that over taping as you want to work the muscle on the sagging eye more to raise the eyebrow. You can try the Forehead Freeze with more emphasis on the side that is sagging more. For taping, you could certainly try the forehead taping with more lift on the dropping side.

      The goal is to go straight up but if you need to adjust, that is fine as every face is different. Just make sure to not have any wrinkles on the forehead between the tape once it is applied.

    • @StrivingforHealth
      @StrivingforHealth  2 года назад

      @Milo Bryte
      Yes, it can certainly help, especially if you sleep on that side. But, I would absolutely make sure to add some facial exercises (Forehead Freeze) and facial cupping on upper lid/eyebrow that is lower to help with the structures underneath. Microcurrent can also be extremely helpful to lift the area. All of these can certainly help to get more symmetry to the face.
