Bravo! That You tube video was a "A-game" presentation of a sample daytime Swordfish deployment. Thank you for sharing. I still need to figure out why the buoy rod went to the Bow of boat unless you are drifting. But whatever rod holder location to avoid tangles is always correct. Besides the Hooker attachable, your other hardware choices seem to be excellent as well.
Most people have a designated bouy rod and several different double ended wind ons spliced in at certain depths with a loop on it. But if you don’t have designated bouy rod you can simply whip a wax loop or use multiple bubbler bands once you get you bait down, there is endless ways to do it.

Recommend you have a safety lanyard on those rods. Accidents happen and you wouldn't want a very expensive "oops" moment.
Have good backing plates. If it hits the water at 80mph your probably better off losing it then it get caught in motor or fuck up boat
No lights on that rig?
love to see this with a diagram of what you were doing and for what reason.
Basically he drops the line the buoy keeps it away for the other line stops tangles

Is that a 50 or 80 reel please
How is the loop on the line for the bouy designed?
