I have been spending two weeks on looking at curtain rods and my first thought today was why don't I make some myself using wooden dowels so I ran to RUclips to see if anyone else had this idea and have done it! Glad I found this video. I won't be making the part to slide the dowel into on both ends, I'm just going to buy the hooks that you don't have to drill into the wall and I'm going to paint my stick black to match everything else. Thank you for sharing this though! It looks fabulous darling!🎉
yes - i hate curtain rods! i feel like there are never any good options to choose from! i do like how these turned out tho! i like the chunky wood look!
This required minimum tools. A cheap hand saw, drill, and drill bit is all you need. You can buy those for less than $40. The drill press to center the hole is nice, but you can still do it with a hand power drill!
The curtain rod and curtains turned out great! Sweet little helper!!
Just what I needed! Thank you!
these are beautiful! Now to go bug my friends with power tools 😋

Love it! 😍
Looks great but usually when looking for how to do things on a budget it’s because I don’t have thousands of dollars in tools. Very pretty
Exactly!!!😅
