Amon Hen, the location for the thrilling conclusion to the Fellowship of the Ring, is one of the most gorgeous locations in Middle Earth. A tall hill crowned in forests and tumbling ruins, looking out across Nen Hithoel and the falls of Rauros has always been a huge fan favourite and a location I have dreamed of creating for decades. I’ve made a bunch of small scatter terrain boards inspired by the location, but today we begin the journey to build a huge towering diorama complete with a massive resin pour lake, lush verdant forests and a gorgeous suite of ruins that capture the memory of Gondor’s former glory.
