Channellock as a Pipefitter welder we use it everyday there’s some guys with 20-30 year old that still bite and even abused as pry bar for flange/pipe fit ups. I will never not recommend it next to knipex there isn’t a better Plier

I have a number of Channellock pliers and some Knipex as well. While you can see a quality fit an finish difference, from a pure functionality standpoint, Channellock takes a back seat to no one. Great that they can deliver a good quality USA made product at a reasonable price.

I love the design of the those zip tie catching pliers. I wish they had those when I was a marine tech working in boat bilges wiring everything from bilge pumps to battery chargers.
There are probably ten thousand zip tie ends laying in the bottom of boat bilges in New York from my work because I didn't have these..... LOL
Channellock pliers have never let me down, and I have abused these tools in ways you'd never imagine. Are they the best? Depends on who you ask, I guess...
I have a Love/Hate relationship with Gearwrench....... There seems to be "knock-off" versions of bad quality in Big Box stores/Amazon, and then the real stuff.
That is a HUGE red flag for me, and tells me that they have no scruples. (Presenting crap under a "Good" name.)
But the Gearwrench scraper set is way overpriced in my opinion. Olsa tools has a great set for half that.
Sorry for the rant........ Lol. Great stuff as always, Tony!!

Haha ya that catcher style is awesome!! And ya idk if channellock are the best but I absolutely love them especially for the price. And ya that's the one thing that irritates me about gearwrench. They have so many different options and some are great quality and then some are absolutely trash. And without getting your hands on them. Some of them can be a real pain to tell. That's why most of the time I won't buy anything with a ratcheting mechanism from them unless I can get my hands on them first.
