I got those same Sears boots brand new on eBay a couple of years ago. Those are Korean made for Sears in the 80’s. Love those boots. The square toe and contoured heel was for using telemark skis, much like the telemark version of the Merrell Wilderness Norwegian welt mountain boot.
Man you have an impressive collection of boots! That first pair you showed are very unique. I would definitely hang on to that pair if I was in your shoes. Or boots....
Greetings! I have been searching for a pair of these for quite some time... any chance you could tell me how they fit? I was very excited to see these highlighted on your channel! Thanks!!
@@happinesscarpenter4550 That is awesome to hear! One of the many places these boots were manufactured was in Millis, Massachusetts, not far away from wear I used to live. My wife's grandfather knew someone who worked at the factory in the 60s/70s and he used to toss seconds out the window to him in his size. Also, the studio looks awesome!
@@erickburger8028 , I don’t think that you can see them in the video, but my first heritage pair that I got around 2017 are right behind me. They are the Red Wing 4183 Roughneck in Briar Oil Slick
Love your aside on racism. We really need to do better as a nation. We were not the original people who settled into this country! Our ancestors were immigrants. Plain and simple
Thanks much for the shout out. Loved the comment on treating people with respect and growing through awareness of prejudices that we all harbor.
@@WeltedWare , well love & respect to you, & I love your channel! Your collection is becoming very desirable, but hearing your voice is the best part.
Boot wall is looking incredible!! Great job H.C.
Love the boot wall great collection too. 👍
I liked the video as soon as i saw the wall.
Awesome wall for awesome boots!
Love the wall!! I think I’m gonna try something like that with mine!! Awesome
The boot studio is looking amazing!!
The square toe is to fit into an old style cable ski binding. The groove in the rear of the heel is to hold the cable.
@@OldMountaineer Thank you! Someone said something like that but I couldn’t remember. Great info❤️
Nice setup, Love how you oriented the boots. Go slightly tighter in framing to get rid of door frame. Also, 2 pt or 3 pt lighting can help.
@@patrickmiao1698 , thanks Brother

looks good man , need lighting up front, maybe a mic to improve audio too
Boots from the floor to the ceiling and you still have enough to put some on the table. That's a lot of boots.
Can you do a video on the two boots sitting on the top shelf from the left corners
@@prasannagunarathna3475 what color were they?
That's one sexy wall!

I wore Herman Survivors when I was in the Army stationed in West Germany in the late 80s and loved them. Aside from Ebay, where could I find a pair?
@@GregMaibach , IDK, but I can keep an eye out. What size & style are you looking for?
Also the two boots on the very left, very bottom and second to bottom the dark ones…which brands ? Thank you
@@erickburger8028 , the 2 on the bottom left are Wesco Jobmasters & the black pair on the 2nd shelf from the bottom are Red Wing Huntsman’s
