A very pertinent reminder that tomorrow is not promised.
I recently lost my beloved father suddenly also to a brain aneurysm. I should add that Dad was 90 years of age and exceptionally well for his age. So i find myself at 56 years, struggling with being an only child for only 2nd time in my life....the 1st being when darling mum passed away aged 88 in 2015.
I have much to be grateful to my wonderful parents....endless love and support but also they taught me about being sensible with money, ie planning for future......they taught me that being financially independent also gives one so many other choices in life.
I will miss my darling mum and dad forever but im taking comfort that as i now press the button on my own (previously planned) retirement that im putting into practice all the wisdom they shared with me and i do believe i have two fab guardian angels watching over me and my fund choices 😊 ❤
