To be honest I think Elvis would have loved that his music can inspire to something new and be listened to by a new generation. I bet even would have thought that his own old records today would have sounded dull. He did try out new songs and styles through out his own carreer. He didn't want to just play "Blue Suede Shoes" untill old age. In a interwiev from the late 60s he even thought that his own SUN recordings had to much ecco and wasn't that thrilled over his own old recordings even so few years later. So keep up the good job. If people prefer the originals, thay are still out there to be listen to.
His original recordings are never gonna sound dull - Great music is great music! His stuff from 50's, 60's and 70's sounds great today & a lot of stuff that came after sounds dated & just didn't age well - Like Disco!
