- Today we're going to take a look at the most successful laundromat I've ever seen. Mark's going to walk us through his $3,000,000 per year location and show us exactly how he's found success in the competitive Austin market.
I have laundromats down to a science. If you want to do laundromats as well click the link:

He’s got a very impressive operation! I’d love to see more of this thing on your channel.
Glad you liked it , will have more i'm sure as time goes on
Codie Sanchez has one on her channel
@@Island_Landlord what is Codie’s RUclips channel?
You know, this could probably be a service you could try and offer to some colleges that they could be able to offer students as an extra charge at the dorms. Hotels might even be another good source too if they do their linens themselves. Try and have them let a third party do the work for them instead, which cuts back on their own work load, granted at a cost.
This is superb! Information, as a noob it gets quite difficult to handle all of this and staying informed is a major cause, how do you go about this are you a pro investor?`
wow ,that’s stirring! Do you mind connecting me to your advisor please. I desperately need one to diversified my portfolio.
I've come across several positive endorsements of Jenny Pamogas Canaya on various platforms, including RUclips channels, seminars, and more._.
Yes on more business profiles. If you expanded coverage beyond laundry, car washes, and real estate I would watch.
I love these videos! Much more analytical and helpful in my opinion. Great job!
Glad you enjoyed
Dude, seeing the day to day workings and systems inside businesses is really helpful 👍
Glad you liked it
Fantastic work! Please post more of this content.
I enjoy videos like these, they give inspiration for things I could do for myself (beyond laundry).
Exciting!! Got my alarm set to remind me.
YES! I'd love to see more content like this.
Great to watch, looking to how i can leverage your operational process into my business
Really loved this video! He's got a really cool business going on there!

Nice video well done.
I don’t have a large interest in that type of video.
What your doing is inspiring enough!
Definitely an inspiration
Love what yo do Brandon!!
Nice video
I’m 25 years old, zero debt, living my best life. I set up a retirement trust fund when I was 17. I’ll be able to access it when I’m 60, and it will be a million dollars. I don’t get how these people can be so irresponsible. Save now people.
Sounds like you had great guidance. Good job but understand not everyone is fortunate enough to have that
Amazing. How were able to set up all this up at 25 years old?
There are true professionals at the top of their game; I had the pleasure of dealing with one, and it turned out to be really helpful as they assisted me in restructuring my complete portfolio. Becky Lou Gordon, a well-known professional in her field who you may be familiar with, is none other than my advisor.
Thank you so much! Found her webpage and left a message. Hopefully, she responds
@@KimberlyFlores-kr1bzWhat do you think will be the purchasing power of said one million dollars by the time you reach 60?
Great video but let’s go deeper! Keep crushing it 🙌
Isn't just the hotdog $1 though?
@@InvestmentJoy Thinking this was meant for another comment lol love this style of video keep doing what you do 👍
@@TRGNetwork lol
Yes please
We want more content like this
I'm not going to lie, an extra $100k for ALL that extra work doesn't seem like it's worth it. $150k, even in Austin, is a good wage. The profit comes from scaling the structure or selling on the license to do the same in other cities.
35% margin = $3m = $900k net
@@InvestmentJoy way bigger calculation to work reward with that margin level. That is decent with his headcount and likely loans to pay down on equipment. 900k is totally worth it. Work ten years, bank a ton of money, exit the business and live a sweet retirement
Yes this please
Is there a new king of laundry in town?
You’re awesome
Yes, more videos like this
He's like the Ray Croc of laundry.
Great success story.
Congrats! You escape the matrix dude
I worked as a driver at the folde. I loved working there and I wish I could go back. I just had a lot of things I was going through personally that I had to leave.
Love it
what a great business
Great content! Yes, would love to see more. I think laundromats should be combined with other services. Coffee/cafe, haircuts, gym, etc. One thing I don't understand about this service: how do they sort? Do they just dump one bag per washer and hope? That doesn't seem like high end service to me.
Here in the twin cities of MN, there are some laundromats that have tanning services in them.
I definitely think a coffee shop would be a good idea to have, but I do wonder how much money it would make.
We did a segment on it, and cut it, might post the way longer, hour walkthru of it on another channel at some point
Great business venture.. I would use that service. I prefer my shirts dry-cleaned. That runs me upwards of $160 per month in the Phoenix market. I would be interested to know his per pound cost of service for non dry-cleaning items . I'm sure in NYC this would be a typical service model.
We cut that part ,and it's something like $35 per customer on average
Brandon, that's a hot dog AND soda for 1.50, not just hot dog!
Option 2 is only Option for me
In college towns it might make the difference between making it or breaking it on the pick up and delivering system, depending on the size of the town and the number of high income people there
There is one local to me that does wash, dry and fold. No pick up or delivery though.
There is a strainer in the cooling tower basin Gould be cleaned monthly. And maybe a finer mesh is needed or syphon the basin monthly. Or big fine y strainers before the small runs to the compressors with an automated blow of cable ran to drain. I’ve cleaned a lot of cooling towers. And here in Az they can get nasty. Our scale potential is like 100x of Ny NJ
That's interesting
I would to see more content like this ..
Noted
I'm in Canada and big problem here. They add carbon tax and its excessive. Just a small mushroom business is $16,000 for one month for carbon tax on top of electric, delivery and natural gas . Water is $100 for 3 cubic meter of water. Next gov changing to heat pumps for hot water, heat , and electricity for heat. Electric used is 19.00 and with all added its over $250.00 . Natural gas used 12 dollars and final bill is over 120 dollars. Ontario Canada is 4 times the price. Wouldn't work in my city sad to say. Many restaurants and businesses are shutting down . One company had a $400,000 carbon tax for one month. You wonder why Canadians are leaving and migrants.
I just retired from 33 years in public safety, and I'm only 54. I saved well, andwith my veteran's benefits make more than i did working. I would love to get into a small business like this, but have no idea how it works. Seems well within my ability, but i have never worked in a service industry like this. Im sure you get this question all the time, but where do i start?
Yes I like things like this.
can you share some specific examples of how he reaches those high end clients? is he active on mommy group? church groups? where is he finding these higher end clients?
Laundry mats are awesome but there’s a catch you haft to check up on them every week that includes vending machines. Which means you have to be in driving distance of them. It’s just me but I’d rather have some thing less tied down. Something that can go 24/7 365 and I don’t HAFT to check up on it every single week in that one location.
Amazing story ! Will be happy to see more like content that 🙂
any good ideas that came to your mind for your laudromats after meeting with the guy?
Between this and the event we did, totally getting into PUD
@@InvestmentJoy Haha good luck buddy !
Where are the tables at that Laundromat? I can only see 2, maybe there are 2 more at the other end, but that still isn't near enough.
This is pretty impressive.
But they are quite exposed to future competition.
I wouldn't be surprised if a gig economy app that focuses on doing people's laundry puts these guys at risk.
Even if the gig economy worker does someone's laundry at their Laundromat.
Plus, current dry cleaners can do this.
That was a segment we cut, alot of it comes down to infrastructure : the average home doesn't have the capacity for 10x washers and dryers.
What is his annual payroll?
Reported to the FBI SEC crook where is my shares... of rental starter
8:16 What do you mean by truckloads of "dirty people's" laundry?
Good job everyone ❤
70 employees and total revenue is only 3mil?
50 and some of them work just 4-6hrs a month, it's something like 20 FTEs
@@InvestmentJoy he's looking at minimum $625k for the FTE's alone, $800k after they pay taxes and other costs. Those managers are more, so guesstimate is $1M just for the FTE,.
Are they really only making $100k extra over a normal laundromat? as I commented before, seems like a lot of extra work for not much extra on top, guess it depends on where you are in life.
Sounds like Cintas.
Whats good about the usa, is that the mafia doesnt take a cur of your hard earned money.
Um, people's dirty laundry. Not dirty people's laundry.😅
Dude is playing minecraft in real life 🧺⁶⁴
You'd be amazed at how many truly great entrepreneurs I run into with a story like, "I was building factories in Minecraft till I realized I could do the same thing IRL and make real money."
@@InvestmentJoy Yea thats how it starts!
The issue is your in southern Ohio broke area
Do you know the legality of your coin pusher? Lots of states seem to have them banned so wondering if you have a license or something.
Done several videos on it about them in Ohio
He never answered your question as usual
EDIT: two most common answers: (1) there is a video about that (2) a video coming out soon about that
@@raymond19001 I get tired of answering the same exact question over 1,000 times. My coin pusher videos altogether has probably had 50 million views. Did legality is they are effectively regulated on a local Municipal level. Ohio Revised Code says that a skilled gaming machine cannot pay out anymore than a $10 prize, which puts every Chuck-E-Cheese or Dave & Buster's under the gun. To give out more than a $10 prize technically, the state of Ohio requires the gaming commission to give you a certificate. The problem is that certificate is never given out, literally unless you are a multi-billion-dollar casino you will never get a permit. So about 10 years ago someone went to the State Attorney General asking them about the specific thing and the State Attorney General said that it should be a local Municipal level issue then. Because in itself the state of Ohio Revised Code clearly says that if a permit is mandated for business activity and will not be issued the law was unconstitutional
The short answer is the local Municipalities in Ohio decides if you can have one in your place of business.
Your not broke if you hade 4 k to your name .
Wait how is he a broke college student and also has no college education?
If my understanding is right he dropped out mid way through
You need to invest in a hotel.
Want to see more of this kind of content. What do you think about the laundromats that dont use coins? The customer loads money onto a card they swipe on washers, dryers and any vending options they may have.
Had a whole segment that got cut, I'm a fan at this point
90% of gross income goes toward payroll.
Nowhere near that
Payroll is not considered profits, profits is what's left after ALL expenses are paid, payroll is an expense. Nice try though, I see you're a W-2 worker here to kill the next man's hustle and success. What are you afraid of my guy? Get out there and work!
@@Ihsaan1422 lol, well done
@@InvestmentJoy man I've been following you for a while! God first then with your (and others Codie, Russell, and etc.) help my financial life has been changed!! I bought my first small apartment building 2022, looking for my first small business deal (laundromat or car wash) this year God willing! Thank you for your content! Looking for a mentor 😉 no hints or anything, lol!
@@Ihsaan1422 awesome to hear
If you think, if you had a college education you would be more successful with a laundrymat... Im shocked you made it thus far.
My uncle also has one of these but he washes fake money instead of clothes, i wonder why 🤔
As a husband are you okay with another man handling / folding your wife's / daughters clothes? There's some sickos out there!
Well, those guys are generally too busy to care. Guys, with those tendencies, are filtered out fast
95%+ of the crew that actually handles the WDF portion are female so.....

Dang this is the dream I just had and it’s real !!!
Did I miss the part from when he was broke to how he got to this operation?
Is there a meth lab under it?
Hope not :D
