These classic ballads are always best played with a gentle tenderness and restraint. Makes life feel like there's a purpose. This is beyond beautiful. It is sublime and goes straight to the heart.

Hi Dave, Even though we both are , Moon River is not quite that old. The great Henry Mancini wrote the song with legendary Johnny Mercer adding the lyrics. I adore Kim's rendition. When I think of river life in the Mississippi delta in the 1800's I think " Old Man River" and would enjoy Kim giving it a try .

How in the world am I comparing you to these....these stars and legends. I don't know. But this Moon River was great. Loved it. --- You ever thought of "Love Letters Straight from the Heart" by Ketty Lester. I just heard it a few years ago too and just fell in love with the singer. Heck. She was like seventy something years old. You could knock it out. --- I'm gonna quit talking. This was great though.
