$55K for basically an entire series of race and engineering experience. Incredibly worth it. I can't imagine how much you could learn within just that one month.
Yeah I understand it’s expensive to maintain everything so the entry is steep and w/o sponsorship you would have to be filthy rich to manange that but this is why us regular folks stick to track days and auto x events it’s cheap and fun. There’s also small circuits I been looking into here in the states but working on building more seat time first.

Cred to the creator Fredrik, had a chat with him and checked the car out, impressive what they put together, many have tried making EV racing series, but i think pretty much this is by far the best and most successful series, well done. You wouldn't believe what a single car cost to build though, hence the leasing arrangement, a good idea to get around the expensive EV tech.
That’s just the support series life. It’s not uncommon to get a slot early in the morning or after the main race has finished. The grandstands at Nürburgring are also huge so if people are spread out it will look really empty.

a friend of mine had the opportunity to drive that series (with the gasoline version, not the electric)...he said the car has terrible understeer and was not fun to drive at all. He was the clio cup winner the year before.
Completely different car to the Mini Challenge car which is what I assume he drove since you said it wasn’t electric. The NXT Gen Cup cars are built from scratch by the series organizer and they’re not based on the Challenge cars. The LRT NXT 1 (which is the official name of the cars used in this series) is actually really nicely balanced and far from understeery. A lot of effort went into making the cars fun to drive and race.
