Even sent text 2 days later thanking us for leaving the home in move in condition. Fastforward 2 weeks, we get a 4 sentence letter saying we will not be getting our deposit back due to replacing a smoke detector, the blinds, painting the house. And having it professional cleaned. No itemized break down of cost per. And we left the house spotless! Even filled nail holes. I thought I had a case, and this just makes me feel better that I do.

can one escrow account be used to store all security deposits as long as nothing but security deposits is stored in that account? thanks
