Love this video. Flew in Montreal today. Miss the time where we could just go up to the cocpit and ask the captain is we can assist the landing with them.
I live in Southern NJ and I see flights everyday weather permitting to and from Montreal. They pass right over my town at 34-37K ft in altitude at about 466 knts, I use the Flightradar24 app to get the real time stats.
forgot to say in my first comment that i used to park my trailers back up to the fence on the right side of the runway ! that s the biggest trucking company in Canada ! it s ( trans Force ) they bye so many trucking companies that it s hard to keep updated ! LoL and i used to have Microsoft Flight sim back in 1999 and loved flying 747 planes ! i got many hours of practice on that simulator ! I probably could land with help over radio ! LoL never know ! it can be useful one day ! have a nice day !
So my second dream was to be a trucker ! and after 35 years of coast to coast trucking, the doctor suspended my driver s permit due to my heart ! now retired i live alone and poor ! but still alive at 66 !
I know our roads here in Quebec are bad and full of patches, and now I see our airport runways and taxi aprons are also full of patches! They love to patch things around here instead of properly fixing it the first time. Band-Aid solution.
Ok, so you're saying that as soon as there is a hole on a road, we should rebuild the road completely. So, when you have a hole in your wall at home, you probably change the whole wall instead of patching it. Not really realistic economically speaking.
Wow!
Probably because he did not land directly on to the touch down zone. You can two big lines at the beginning of the runway. This is a touch down mark. Pilots have to land approximately at that place if they do not want to run out of runway!
I have flown by air several times but never had a chance to have such a wonderful view of the clouds, thanks for sharing this video.
Gorgeous view, I will always be envious of pilots that get to fly these beautiful machines and see this every day. 😊
Nice view from the cockpit.

Wow, malade !! Quel privilège de voir cet aterrisage 🥰
Quelle vue spectaculaire!

pretty smooth this aircraft
Did anyone catch what he "screwed up" on landing?
done this one twice now a few years ago.
Such a smooth landing!
What was that sound before touch down?
So...still waiting for a reply about the "screw up" comment! Nice vid!
I did reply. Thats probably the cause of the screw up.
Was the autopilot disengaged at mínimums ?
It was the autothrottle

Mina nina.

At the end the pilot says "I had to screwed it up, everything else was perfect"... what is he talking about ?
