This is me exactly! I am currently trying to get genetic testing but it's a slow and long process.

Thank you so much... This had helped me so much! I just can't thank you enough for this information. It really helps one understand how the jaw is connected to the neck and vice versa. I will be taking this information to my doctors as this has never been mentioned whatsoever. I have had TMJ dysfunction for over 20 years... But I had no idea my condyle was dislocated until I did the test you mentioned... The right side is dislocated. I know it's not as straight forward to get it treated or understood by doctors. Is there anyone in the UK that you could suggest is good to be referred to? I have TMJ dysfunction and muscle spasms in my neck and pain in my head over into the back of my right eye. Thank you so much for this information. It's at least a place to start.

For my entire life I’ve been told I have a congenital defect and the right side of my jaw is underdeveloped...nobody would do surgery without braces and my insurance wouldn’t cover surgery because they said it’s cosmetic. I have dealt with migraines and all other headaches since I was 6...this is the one constant and I wish I could fix it in hopes that it would solve many of my headaches...I wish you were in WA state!

Thank you so very much Sir! How can I see you?
After two DMDs not believing the severity of my problem (I am 40, chomped away my whole life.), and how Bruxism/TMJ have destroyed me...
*I NEED YOU IN MY LIFE*
Please? I promise to be fun, interesting and full of future study potential.

@Enguarde Yes, I have. And when I can find it, OMT for only my mouth, head and neck. My Dentist and I have started noticing retrusion that we can significantly measure in the last 6 months. I am still not sleeping well and now making my own mouth guards. My dentist is nervous about doing dental blocking with me which I love. She's working it. :)

Is there any research that shows that activation of the superior constrictor reduces the airway by 50%?

So that’s why the Dentist keep giving me root canals on the same tooth. 4 times and the nerve pain has just started again.

Dr. Mitakides is retired now. I was just looking into learning more about how he uses botox and puts the c1/c2 back in place and I can't get in touch with him and I can't get find anyone who was taught by him.
