  • Welcome to the February 2023 garden tour where I’ll show you what’s grown well in our zone 9b area!
I grow totally organic, no pesticides or chemicals allowed.
Me and ‪@ModelA‬ are working on self sufficiency by growing our own food!
Through the years I’ve been trying to figure out when different veggies and fruits need to be planted including seeds because our area and climate is definitely different, for instance, when I by tomatoe plants in our area at store even, I plant them they get going and just as they start doing really well and producing a lot the weather changes and there goes the plants. To be successful I’m finding that I need to grow tomatoes by seed in a green house early and get them big before it’s warm outside to plant.
This is the first year I’ll be trying my theory which means that soon I’ll have a video on putting my greenhouse together!

I bought a new 6.5 hp engine for my old tiller. Time to get back to basics, turn over the soil and get back into gardening. If you can have a nice plot, so can I! Why is it that it seems to tastes better when you grow it yourself? Pride? Anyways, thanks for the video (with cats and birds!)

That’s awesome!! I don’t have any equipment, just picks and shovels lol, I know why it tastes so much better because it’s fresh and no weird stuff in it from who knows where 😁💗 Take care, hope you’re doing well!

Say, where do you go to get chicks? Raise your own, once you have some, but where initially? Just curious. I've seen them at Tractor Supply and feed and seed stores.

Recently in life, some from feed store and last 6 from Tractor supply 😄
Now I have a good rooster so I can have babies, so long as I don’t care about them being mixed breed, which I don’t lol but sometimes it’s fun to have certain breeds for the different colored eggs and to see what the temperament of each is 💕

Excuse the breach of channel etiquette:
Model-T you need to have Paul build a Cock-a-doodle-doo horn for the "daily driver" just think of all the laughs you get from crowds during the parades, you let loose with typical model a horn but then Cock-a-doodle-doo.
I'm trying to have to put your rooster's Crow on my phone for the alarm function.
