The president is humble in that he finds it appropriate and even feels that is his job to explain to Kenyans what or where the bottlenecks of fighting corruption lie.
He is doing that as your servant, not your boss.
He was not part of the discourse at this function but out of his humility, he felt obliged to attend and contribute to this noble cause-war on corruption- that he personally admitted has frustrated him.
Other presidents would never do that! THAT IS A FACT!
All agencies are interconnected from the executive, to the judiciary [investigative arm, prosecutorial ...e.t.c.] and like beads on a necklace or cogs in a wheel, if just one of them breaks or even fails, the entire system grinds to a halt!
There are literally hundreds of cases before courts today some as old as two years old and nobody knows their status.
This might be the best President Kenya has and might ever HAVE.
It is even painful to imagine how Kenya will look like without U.K at the helm of power beyond 2022. Long live Sir!

I've always been of the strongest belief that there's is political will from Number One - Pres Uhuru Kenyatta, to fight graft. He has been let down by the likes of EACC, Office of the DPP, and the Judiciary. He cannot do this job single handedly, these institutions MUST play their part!

What kind of circus is this? People don't have to give Govt. advice in public for us to be seen to be fighting corruption. This is kind of a "mea culpa". Govt. admitting that it lacks ideas of how to sort this out. People elect Govts to sort out their problems..........not to whine and consult itself in public. Results of such consultations is what the public wants to see! RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS.

Kenyans seem not to understand their own role in dealing with this monster called corruption. They expect miracles from courts of law. The courts also need support from the rest of Govt. and people in general. The most corrupt fellows are found in positions of leadership, and they use the same positions to shield themselves from the law. What's the presidency, parliament, private sector doing within their own powers about this?

Yes in deed its high time as we Kenyans fight corruption. Before you point a finger on anyone, ask your self what you done to not only fight but at list show progress on eliminating corruption. Magufuli in his 100 days every day was a remarkable. for his austerity and impatience with corruption and waste.
