So, let me understand... If you are telling us that FlutterFlow sucks in many ways, why your company Ambitious Labs teaches FlutterFlow to its students. Shouldn't you be teaching them a tool that is actually worth their while learning? Another question... you mentioned in your video that FlutterFlow is NOT a no-code tool, but you portray FlutterFlow on the Ambitious Lab 's site as the best no-code tool, which is why you are teaching it. It seems to me that this video and what you are trying to sell on Ambitious Lab contradict each other. Could you please elaborate on this?

Problem #1 really is only a problem if you're trying to do eCommerce or you were hoping you wouldn't have to manage your app and website workflows separately. Flutter's own web specific documentation states that for document style or rich text content, like marketing content, landing pages, blog posts, product pages, etc, that utilizing HTML based pages is best for that. I wouldn't consider this a performance issue. This is a feature limitation of Search Engine Indexing.
This is a plug for your own business. You could have done this without bashing another company. Nike never had to bash Adidas. Besides I have been using Flutterflow for awhile now and some of the claims that you are making aren't true. You should have took this as an opportunity to demonstrate what your company does well, I cant support a company that attempts to grab my attention with negative energy

I rarely click the "Dislike" button as I see it as destructive and pointless. However, for this video, unfortunately, I had to click on it.
Point #1 (or rather argument #1) is not really a valid argument, as it is not the fault of the Flutter framework. Each tool/framework has its intended purpose, and if you do not respect that, you have no right to blame said tool/framework and/or the team behind it.
To help the analogy, you cannot use a small SMART car to haul a mobile home trailer, and then blame the company for building n unfit car. You have simply used it for a purpose which is other than intended when the car was developed. I hope you see the point I am making!
Funnily enough, this video helped me decide that Flutterflow actually is the tool I want to learn now :)

Liked your opinion on these, thanks for sharing. Just one point regarding the sound engineering of the video. Please don't overuse riser sounds like to "whosh" you used. They should only emphasize some important parts and not every transition.

flutterflow is perferct for my use case. im a more traditional software engineer and know how to code mobile apps from scratch but building on flutterflow is so much quicker
how do you do build gui for mobile apps?
Exactly what I think, the most important for no code technologies is the saved time and not to be the cutting edge tech stack. We can validate ideas quickly. "Choosing the right tool for each problem".

I have been full stack web for over 15 years. Would it be good if i want to get into mobile tontry and use it? Thats where i am lost. Everyone says their way is the best. I just want a basic app to het the concept but not native in two languages. Would this hurt my mobile learning or help. Thanks.

flutterflow is laggy, cant event center a single text inside a container it doesnt works, also you drop a container or any layout you cant see where is the container or layout that you actually dropped because there is not even let you set a background color in it so you can have any idea what are you doing.

Flutter is a framework, not a language. It uses Dart as a coding language.
flutter is a new language give it time . the fact that it doesn't have some features doesn't mean this is going to be parament. eventually it will catch up. keep in mind it's open source so definitely it's gonna catch up real fast. and once it does no other language will be able to compete because of the fact that flutter is cross platform

Yes, but if you need bluetooth for your project and FF doesn't support the basic ble communication, this is very bad. Any app builder should first support some basic stuff and then make it nicer, easier, etc. I have a PRO license and in some month I didn't even manage to get a list of connected devices and scanned devices. They say the Flutter_Blue_Plus package functions should work but later they told that they didn't test it and they also found that the first function isBluetoothEnabled didn't work in FF due to the limitations of Google!?!
FlutterFlow is not a computer language, it is a design tool which generates Flutter code. Flutter uses the Dart language.
While SEO is important for landing pages/websites, blogs, content, is there any need or use to SEO web apps ever?
Great question. Depends. Airbnb uses SEO to index their properties using terms like “log cabin for rent in aspen”. PrizePicks, the product I previously built - did not have any SEO on the app itself because the data changes so fast, but our marketing team leveraged webflow for content heavy sites. If your app has a lot of dynamic data, likely not. If it’s static and has content people could search for, then yes.

What is your opinion on Adalo?
Never used it. As someone who wrote code for 10 years before jumping into no-code, I will always want control over my intellectual property - ie access to the code.
Previous Adalo user here. I moved from it to Flutterflow. Adalo has very poor performance, and has very big limitations on what you can do even if they say so you can. The main advantage for me in Adalo is that it is a pure Drag and Drop builder wireframe style canvas, while FF you still need to adjust locations, paddings, etc... sort of HTML/CSS style while Adalo makes it much simpler. FF has more powerful features and, things can you cannot do outside of the box you can always do code while Adalo NOT. Also the new Adalo pricing is just insane, they shot themselves in the foot.I would just use it for quick MVP/Wireframing. All my apps now are in Flutterflow.
i tried using adalo but its so limited its very hard to make your vision come true. It feels like a complete waste of time tbh.
Thanks for flagging the web performance problems created by its core architecture. Thats a really big deal i haven't found anyone talking about before.

I dont mind number #3 its the same with Webflow had a client who requested that we build their site in webflow and for some of the things they requested we had to add code we were all shock at first but understood in the end the only true way to be no code is if you import a template and switch out the images and text but leave everything else

Don’t put yourself down. There are many people, thousands of people, who have tried coding for years. And they still don’t know how to code but they have ideas. And flutterflow can serve as an mvp for them to pitch their ideas. Some founders have used flutterflow to get investment to build an actual iOS and android app eventually.
I had been working for months and hours on a project, paying the pro subscription every month for several months now and some of the projects that I have been doing for months disappeared, not just for a few hours, months, I can't send a message to support, it won't let me and I had always been able to before, how am I supposed to solve it if they don't answer me? I can't send messages, what's happening, the chat section disappears??? Someone who can help me, it's not fair, I've been working for months, the test section doesn't load, the texts can't be seen and it doesn't load, so I don't know what's happening. I need help. I can't communicate with Flutterflow even though I have the subscription.

Hmmm I didn't really understand your point on web apps. Is it the performance that sucks or simply SEO indexing? I care about the former and not at all about the latter. We're running a lot of video content and aim to be web-first. Weweb wasn't as straightforward I found.
I reckon it's more SEO indexing, which is a legitimate problem. Not gonna kill many apps.
But google ranking for sales listings to drive traffic seems to take a big hit. If you don't neeeeed Google clicks to a direct page in your app.
Outside of that it's mobile first so it a native experience with native performance

The first reason is the main reason I like Flutter.
Your title is just way too dramatic! Your title should have been something like... "3 Reasons Why FlutterFlow Might Not Be For You". RUclips content creators should quit this, "Views At All Cost" mentality... It is tired now.

One fundamental question for you, is there any other no code platform that doesn’t use single line of code? Flutterflow does require custom functions and actions to achieve any desired functionality. But is there any other platform that does everything for us without single like of code unlike flutterflow? That would be great then
