- This week (2nd Sunday) the Gospel is about the wedding in Cana where Jesus reveals Divine power by transforming water into wine. In the Bible, marriage is the symbol of the Covenant relationship between God and his chosen people. God is the faithful bridegroom, and humanity is his beloved bride.
