In this video lesson tutorial learn some super easy and fun lead guitar soloing licks, devices, and techniques in a killer melodic bluesy style. You can easily and quickly add these to your playing arsenal. I demo all licks at slow and record speed as well as tab them all out with on-screen tablature, so its a snap to follow along. 2 questions. Do you have a link to the jam track? How do you get that tone? Is it pedals. And if so what type. I really enjoy that type of tone for learning lead guitar. I’m very new to the guitar. I have a lot to learn. Thank you for your teaching.
Hello - I dont have a lin to this jam track but email me at TheNextLevelGuitar@yahoo.com and I can email you the track. As far as tone I am playing that Fender Stratocaster through the neck pickup and using a plugin - so the chain is my guitar straight into my interface into that iMac computer behind me thats running logicX software for recording. Then the guitar sound is a plugin by Neural DSP called Archetype Plini. Neural DSP makes some killer plugins. The tone is basically a mid to heavy amount of distortion with some reverb and delay added. I often use plugins when I record videos for the sheer convenience of them - just plug in and go. But live I prefer my tube amps. If u like the tone you want to get some really warm distortion either from a tube amp or modeler or plugin and add some delay with a few repeats and some reverb - thats a good place to start - let me know if u have any follow up questions.
