- Bad day for Olbarikoi and fig tree pride they wake up with the roars of 2 intruders, the black rock boys again but Olbarikoi aka Jesse2 is a great father and protector pick up his pride 3 lionesses and 6 cubs and started to run crossed talek river and go to the border with olare motorogi conservancy. The pride was rewarded with a big kill the lionesses caught a zebra and all the pride was happy and enjoying the meal, the 2 intruders Olobor and Oloshipa failed the take over for the third time, in the end they were chilling out in fig tree territory ...
Wow!!... I'm surprised!: in another similar situation, the male runs away, letting the pride and the subs to their own, maybe confronting and imminent fight with the tragic consecuences, but not here! All of them run away togheter, while the presence of the male is vital for the cubs survival.
Furthermore!: after the hunt, the male does not seize the prey without letting the others eat, but all share the carcass!
What a great leader Olbarikoi-Jesse 2 is. RESPECT!!! 🙌
great leader Jesse2 i saw other males like Kaka he lost his brother Maridadi and than he abandoned the maji fisi pride and cubs and is now a nomad

Omg, hard to contain emotions to see the whole pride, especially cubs running for their lives. Lion society is unforgiving that survival is a duality of life & death. Bow down to this king. By the time they killed Olope,Olobor and Oloshipa were already dorminant in the Mara,, especially Olobor that guy is ruthless,more likeanother version of mr T,he is akiller,2 on t2 the fig tree males are not up to his aggression.
Such a smart decision Jesse 2 made...he has the genes of his father Jesse (who was unfortunately killed reasently) it's really an act of bravery and courage to lead his small family to savety...you don't see this often... hope they doing well till today...as for Olobor he once barely survived an attack from Eulukut(if i pronounce it right) and Spikie ... everyone finds his master....

Of course didn't work this way but it would be interesting if the whole pride fights as one against the incoming males to take over.. make it a fair fight sometimes three against one there's no way a male would win, it is very sad when they're jumping on them and getting torn apart to the death ..
Prides have been known to jump in fights during take overs.

Well now it turns out that both he and his brothers were actually killed by humans- now isn’t that sadder and the year later Olabor disappeared under same circumstances although his disappearance caused more attention

Yes, they had an encounter many weeks ago, but Jesse 2 chased his father away in an instinctive reaction to protect the territory and the cubs (his father could kill them).
Myself I suggest hunters must be sold one lion of the two males in one territory rather than taking down the pride king itself so that we avoid two or three lions against a single lion.
if there was no cubs the three lionesses would go with the intruders.

I love the videos, but can't help but think that the vehicles expose where the lions are, which can be problematic for several reasons...We are mostly destroying their habitat and killing these animals outright, or exposing them, exploiting them for a variety of human needs....We are on our way down the bell curve now though..Every human civilization to ever exist has destroyed itself, it's our turn now..Every civilization is a losing race to discover remedies for the predicaments it produces....As long as we celebrate and reward greed, ego and violence, we can never break the cycle of civilizational collapse..We may very well be the last civilization though....
Je suis d'accord trop de touristes trop de voitures c'est horrible les véhicules font du hors piste ce qui normalement est interdit, ils abîment les terrains et l'herbe pour les herbivores ,les chasseurs de lions savent exactement où les trouver et les lions ne se méfient plus de l'homme à force de le voir tout les jours !! Les vidéos tournent en boucle sur les réseaux c'est affreux !dans un parc en Afrique du Sud des bébés lions ce font régulièrement écraser par les voitures ou alors effrayé ils se perdent dans les hautes herbes et ne retrouvent plus leurs mères.

1 cub with 8 months, and 4 cubs with 3 our 4 months old and now 4 little ones with 1 month, i suspect maji fisi cub died
