May I just say you have such a welcoming and personable persona. I had gotten an email yesterday about my video interview at work, I got off late. I researched, stumbled across your video, watched your video and went to sleep after finishing your video. (I was going to do it after but you had mentioned to not look sleepy or tired, so the next morning it was!) So today at 10 am I had sent my VI. 20 minutes ago, I got my call inviting me to interview on Tuesday! I really want to say, THANK YOU!!!! You made me feel myself, and feel comfortable and my personality showed enough. Thank you beautiful lady! Carry on with what you do!!

@@maeberly9590 Oh, I only got as far as the f2f because it was my first time getting that far and I kind of tanked. Lesson learned: it's better to stop studying and rehearsing the night before and concentrate on confidence and being your genuine self. It's not gonna stop me from trying though.

I wanted to thank you for this video. Republic Airways has given me a job offer. I am still waiting on a face-to-face from both United and American Airlines. I followed your advice and found a neutral background, put up my hair, put on a flattering lip color (deep rose shade), and put on a black blazer. I can't wait until training!

It was awesome!!! I then got the TA after this then did the live interview and now waiting for a F2F. The wait is crucial. lol. My live interview was in in the beginning of November and I'm still waiting but it's all gucci. lol.

Ahh thank you so much for making this video! I have several friends preparing to do their video interview and your suggestions are 100% on point. I'm glad you stressed appearance so much because it really is serious. I remember when I did my interview a woman who already works for the airline stressed appearance a LOT and I thought it was kind of overkill but I am SO glad I took her advice. Sure...you might not feel like it's right that they put this much emphasis on your appearance but you have to remember that it's a first impression and ANYTHING that makes you stand out (good or bad) is a big deal. You also have to remember that you're competing with people who have wanted this since they were kids and would do pretty much anything for the job. If you do anything that gives the person going through the interviews any indication that you have cut corners they will spot it immediately and move on to one of the tens of thousands of applicants who they can see didn't take any chances.

I truly enjoyed this video (April 2019). This has become the norm for the initial interview and your tips are spot on! You really shared great detailed information. Wish I had known about the red lipstick tip, because I wore very bland makeup, wasn’t unattractive but certainly wasn’t my best look!

Just giving this video a bump. I've been perusing the videos in the genre and have yet to find anything close to the level of professionalism and factual information provided by Ebony. Also, it appears that there's a few channels out there similar to this one, but I've yet to find one that is as detailed and industry-specific as this one. EC, you till own this genre..............

I truly enjoyed this video (April 2019). This has become the norm for the initial interview and your tips are spot on! You really shared great detailed information. Wish I had known about the red lipstick tip, because I wore very bland makeup, wasn’t unattractive but certainly wasn’t my best look!

Just giving this video a bump. I've been perusing the videos in the genre and have yet to find anything close to the level of professionalism and factual information provided by Ebony.
Also, it appears that there's a few channels out there similar to this one, but I've yet to find one that is as detailed and industry-specific as this one.

Yesterday, I received my email from Republic Airways two days ago. I'm very excited but very nervous. This would be a completely new adventure for me. My co workers always told me I would be a perfect fit for it but I was always so nervous to do it. Your tips have helped me a great deal. I will definitely put them to good use. I'm excited to meet new travelers and travel the world myself. I look forward to gaining more knowledge from you as I go along. Keep doing your videos!
