@@Good_Boy_3000 all three GLK&H superhero lawyers have been portrayed as competent. This character is just played straight. Even if Jen is goofy and Pug has his suave/softness, they both won their cases (besides the pending Blaze case) and were able to swing the court in their favor.

Honestly, it's kinda refreshing having a Marvel show that focuses on the mundane happenings of the world outside of the existential threats. Not every super powered person is going to be fighting another super powered person every second of every day. The show is by no means a master piece, but it does a decent job of fleshing out the world a bit.
This has happened before in multiple marvel projects.

Wow, didn’t know Jamel could be playing more of a stuck up bench than Tahani in season 1 of The Good Place. Honestly, I’ve been looking more forward to more of her character in this show than I am for Charlie’s Daredevil coming soon into this show. I felt like episode 1 really botched up her introduction as we’ve seen in the past episodes that the fight was not only cut, but badly cut too.
Obviously Matt Murdock will be in this series because… "HE’S A REALLY GOOD LAWYER!!!"

Wong would NEVER go to an attorney and the court to solve his problems: 1) Wong wouldn't want his brotherhood of sorcerors to be regulated by any government or it's laws and 2) Wong is the Sorcerer Supreme so he can easily retrieve a sling ring from a drop out student. The writing is awful.

You know it actually is kind of funny that Jen (the lawyer) didn't think to trademark her own alter ego so others couldn't profit off it, I'll give the writers credit for that .
To be fair she didn’t want it to begin with, plus I doubt the other superheroes trademark their names (hell I’m fairly certain the Captain America name is owned by The US Government)
I'm waiting for the time to negotiate my books into movie adaptations before I start filing trademarks for my superheroes. I don't want anyone to profit off of Rubber Girl, Toon Girl or the Justicers, but trademarks are expensive and only protects a few years, so putting a trademark on names that would be on the cover of one book for a while or names within pages that trademark law doesn't protect (As the Shazam/Captain Marvel case has shown) would be a huge waste. In fact, Jennifer's not even misusing a trademark because she's not making money off it. The press are using She-Hulk more than Jen herself. And the news are completely within fair use. Otherwise, how can they tell us about movies and shows with trademarked titles. So this case really is a sham because not only did Jennifer Walters get the name She-Hulk first, she's using it in a way that doesn't even need trademark protection because trademarks are about goods, services and merchandising. She-Hulk is just an alias of a lawyer. If Thor and Doctor Strange can't trademark their own names, why should She-Hulk?

@@ItsGamingFancy That conversation was in the mid-season trailer from a couple days ago so I already knew she would reference the two heroes that use their real names. But still, having our parents trademarking our names would be useful in preventing mistaken identities through common names. And if we can't trademark our own names, why should She-Hulk trademark hers? Especially since she didn't choose it as a stage name. The media just called her that, and the judge gave the trademark to her because she used it when dating some guys. I don't think what you call yourself on a date should give you an ownership of a trademark.

TO be honest, despite the bashing and all, I enjoy this series. It serves its purpose. Light, funny and a show that encourages you not to analyze things. Its just it. Love the series.

I'm actually pretty into that show. Yeah, it overrides its quirks at times, but it's funny in ways a lot of Marvel stuf isn't. In good ways. Jen is pretty charming and she has great cast of friends. I think Murdock would at least be amused at the change of pace. I hope he teases Jen about the forth wall breaking. And i found out about Frog Man from comments here, so i'm excited.
Yeah I won't lie, while I was upset about the show's writing I can't disagree that I found Jen charming. I mean it felt good thinking about her as a person rather than the show after I watched it. And that makes me feel like they didn't do her justice. Especially by putting Wong in episode 4. She talked about it being her show and then they made it about Wong. That part made me a little upset because I wanted to spend more time with her character. We already had enough cameos before that.
I love the Jen and also her shehulk form .but show is nothing without having massive fighting scene because we have to give respect to surname hulk.but lot of worst scene such as twerk scene and pediatrician scene something adult . but i love 💕 the characters mad girl Wong bestie two n one y girl 😍

you have your expectations set WAY too high my friend. daredevil is in one episode and it will most likely be the second to last one. kingpin has a SMALL chance of making a brief cameo at the very end, and general ross and frank are 100% not in the show.

believe it or not, titania is kinda right about this, in law doesn't matter who came up with the name first, is who registered the name first what really matters, even if she started using the name first if titania licensed it first she has the right for a compensation, where this gets tricky is the fact that the public came up with the name, and how much jenn used it to make profit
Jen never used it to make profit which should give her an advantage, people who use the name when interviewing her but she never actually used the name properly until she made her Matcher profile

This show is so good! It makes shows like breaking bad, better call Saul, sopranos, the wire, GOT, prison break, the walking dead look mid!!! She hulk has amazing cinematography, writing, acting, action scenes, humor, emotional scenes, storytelling and world building! It’s so great ( I am insanely delusional and never touched grass in my life)

I hope this is explained in the episode but why is Titania able to be in a court room after causing damage to a courtroom and attempted to murder several people? Even if she "wins" the court case, she will still have to go to jail. Also why did she try to kill those people in episode 1 in the first place? And would she still have fans if they now know she is an attempted killer?
Titania was released from her charges in episode 2 I think. She’s a free woman. She’s has money, power and influence so it makes sense.
They already explained all of this in the show

Jameela Jamil's Valley Girl Instathot accent is breaking my brain.
These days with social media it's not so much unrealistic expectations for shows/films; it's an addiction to cynicism and negativity.
Everyone wants to chime-in with 'L' or 'mid' then wax on with random cynicism to get some easy knee-jerk views and responses.
Because people can see that negativity generates views and clicks, and their social media addicted brains tells them that's all that matters, so just keep on hating and spewing vitriol.
An endless feedback loop of casual cynicism and angst-addicted attention seeking.
Oh man. Literally everything you said was true, but the fact that you're using it to defend THIS "show" in particular is just ruining it. Literally ANY OTHER show would've worked for this and I would've agreed with you, you had ONE job.
It's like eating a burger and then being forced to drink cement: The first part was good, but the second part kinda destroys the overall experience. xD
I guess expecting the writers to know about the law or hiring a consultant who does is just too much to expect from people who are writing a show that's mainly about law. Why shouldn't expect writers to know anything about the topics they are writing about. Afterall, they're just a small group of writers that's only writing for a multi-billion dollar franchise, we shouldn't expect too much from them.

Comedy writers, right, having a laugh together about being 'bad at writing a legal show' - in the sense that they're more concerned about the comedy and the character gags first and foremost, because they aren't writing for a serious legal drama.

You're not the first to get all uppity about it, so I presume some fools twisted it and overreacted to it and ranted about it, got people riled-up about "the writers admit they somethingsomething" like a gotcha! except that gotcha doesn't actually exist.
@@griffgames9538 They could have set up a stronger plot that actually worked in a legal sense. Like the trademark issue can't actually be a case since the two companies involved are a cosmetic company and a law firm. In order for a trademark violation to occur, the two have to be similar enough that there is legal proof that having the same name is causing confusion with customers. Nobody is gonna go looking for makeup from Titania and accidentally hire a lawyer or vise versa. If they wanted to have this make sense, why not have the she-hulk name be around Titania's superhero identity and the branding that comes from that? That way people might be confused if they wanna buy she-hulk merchandise, but they get Jennifer's merchandise rather than Titania's or vise versa? It's little fixes like that which would go a long way to improve the story without having the plot fall apart of you think about it too hard
@@VexdinLord Fair enough. Although in that vein, Jennifer is the one who actually must do a full physical transformation before she identifies as, and uses, the She-Hulk name herself.
