That's great! It's nice to see it getting use. C.Hill and I bolted that line up for Larry's birthday a couple of years ago. I've been to Gemini Bridges a gazillion times... Good work!
It's dynamic nylon webbing rated for climbing. I think typical stretch is somewhere around 18%. It's tensioned with a rope and pulley system on one end. If you're talking about the swingline, I don't have a clue.
I was down there last week, I didn't realize how exposed this was! We set up the line and stepped out and it was so far down. I couldn't stay up long before I would shake myself off I was so scared!
How long have you guys been slacklining? How long does it take to be able to do that without falling? Falling does look fun though, however I think I'll stick to my granite in my new Asolo's
i guess not. over the summer when i was looking for a place in SLo i needed a roommate and i asked rob but he said he'd prefer to live in his car then at mustang village
bolts.....yeah....just what i love seeing in the beautiful redrocks.....shiny metal bolts. moab is falling prey to the destoyers of nature. this area is also known for tourists leaving their trash. come now, cause in 10 years, this won't be a nature mecca anymore, but your normal, run of the mill tourist town, with nature destroyed to provide all the amenities needed for the visitors.
@CoolThisIsMyUsername You fall to death... but when doing this you do not think on that, the chances of breaking the line are quite few it is more probably that you fail because a human error on the knots or the anchors.

Yes, that line is over the Birthday Gap. The rope jumping takes place in the Dog Hole, which is nearby.
