      In hindsight I should have put a trap on the sink and also consider putting a little bleach in the waste tank. Keep an eye on your supply tank for mold if you are not using it much.

    I would like to have a normal sink and a shower this way. Do you think this pump would still be appropriate? Do you think I could put some kind of split and a heater for hot water?

      Absolutely! You might want to look at a RV shower head but look on Amazon for a water heater, RV water heaters are much too expensive.

    Where do you get a foot pump? And does the pump run continually when you press the foot pump?

    • @ericshop
      @ericshop  4 года назад +3

      I made mine but Harbour Freight sells two different styles foot switches, one that latches on with one press and then off when you push again, and the other is only on as long as you press the button. You can choose the one that fits your needs best.

    Hey man good setup. What kind of pump do you have? I have a similar setup and the pump is really quite loud. Yours seemed to be a bit more quiet. Thanks

      Isolation is the key to making the pump more quiet. Mounting it with soft rubber feet or grommets will help a lot. I’m not sure what brand the pump is but I worked with a lot of 12v pumps when I worked on campers and for the most part they are all the same.

    Great idea. What's the name or type of the pump used?

    • @ericshop
      @ericshop  2 года назад

      The water pumps can be bought as either 12v DC or 110v AC, here is one available from Harbor Freight. www.harborfreight.com/110-hp-transfer-pump-320-gph-63317.html

      Lol, that's basically what this system is, with the exception of the foot pedal.

    How much did the pump cost?

    • @ericshop
      @ericshop  Год назад

      Harbor Freight has one for $65 right now but you might be able to fine one cheaper used. www.harborfreight.com/110-hp-transfer-pump-320-gph-63317.html
