New Mutants is truly Late To the Party! I am looking forward to a Mutants movie with a horror vibe. I really want this to be good. But the delays don't have me hopeful. By the way, Adam Beach lasted here as long aa he did in Suicide Squad.
I been waiting for this movie for so long. No one in my fam understand how much im excited for it. The title makes me happy cause Legion started in New Mutants comics
Disney isn't legally allowed to release the film on digital or Disney+ because of a deal they signed that stated that both Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants have to be released theatrically. Even if they could they still wouldn't do it because Fox sold the streaming rights for the X-Men to HBO years ago meaning it would go to HBO Max instead but Warner Bros owns HBO. Also the director has stated in the past that the film was always intended to be PG-13.
I'm not sure but all I know is when they made the deal with HBO the streaming license for the X-Men was going to expire in 2022. So I guess they made some deal but The New Mutants is still not doing to D+.
Brandon Bowers well they stuck their dirty fingers in and stalled Dark Phoenix before the acquisition. Because Dark Phoenix would have been released almost a year before Captain Marvel. And Dark Phoenix would have had Jean fighting aliens in space. I guess that’s kinda what happened in Captain Marvel. I don’t watch disney movies. But Dark Phoenix would have gotten there first. Making mcu the copy cat. Anyways. I wouldn’t be heartbroken if disney lost this round for once. I just want to see the last Xmen movie I’ll be interested to watch.

Man!!! You know how jacked I have been to see this. I was more excited for New Mutants than Venom. I was more excited for New Mutants than I was for Joker. I was more excited for New Mutants than I was for Birds of Prey. And those are my three favourite movies of each year recently.
Y'know, that 1st 2 minutes was great, but it got me a little mad, because that's what they've been holding out on us for 3 years, when we've could've easily seen it already!

How come X-Men DoFP is on Disney+ if Fox sold streaming rights to the X-Men franchise to HBO?
